    AVOID ( Big scam)

    rating08 May 2026

AVOID – Hidden Charges, Poor Conditions, and False 4-Star ClaimsI booked this hotel as part of an all-inclusive package for two people, two nights. What followed was one of the most disappointing and misleading hotel experiences I have ever had.Hidden Check-In ChargesDespite having a fully paid package, we were charged an extra £80 at check-in — with no prior warning, no explanation in the booking, and no transparency whatsoever. This is unacceptable and feels deliberately deceptive.Dirty, Poorly Maintained RoomThe room was damp, and the paint was peeling off the walls. For a property advertising itself as a 4-star hotel, the condition was closer to a 1-star. This is not a matter of opinion — it is a basic maintenance failure.Minibar TrapThe room had cold drinks (including Red Bull), snacks, peanuts, and pistachios placed openly on the table — with absolutely no notice that these items were chargeable. This appears to be a deliberate tactic to catch guests off guard at checkout, where each item is billed separately at inflated prices (reportedly €4–5 per item). No Complimentary AmenitiesFor a self-proclaimed 4-star hotel, the only complimentary item in the room was toilet tissue. Nothing else.Poor LocationThe hotel is tucked between buildings in a hard-to-find spot. We struggled to locate it, and there is no clear signage or guidance.Disappointing BreakfastThe breakfast did not meet any reasonable 4-star standard. Quality was poor and the selection was very limited.

    Extremely unpleasant stay.

    rating29 Oct 2025

Extremely unpleasant stay. The hotel is incredibly noisy — the walls seem to be made of cardboard, and you can hear absolutely everything from neighboring rooms, the corridors, and even the street, since the windows either don’t open at all or don’t close properly. Constant car honking and outside noise made it impossible to rest. The bathroom is ridiculously small and uncomfortable. To use the toilet, you literally have to step inside the shower cabin and close the door, otherwise there’s no space. There was also visible mold and a strong sewage smell.Cleanliness is below any acceptable level. The housekeeping staff are extremely loud early in the morning, talking and playing music while cleaning with the doors wide open, so all the noise spreads through the entire floor. On one occasion, they even entered my room without permission, despite the “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door — while I was undressed — and started checking the minibar without even apologizing. Completely unacceptable behavior.During my stay there was also a group of young athletes running and shouting in the corridors, blasting loud music from their rooms, and constantly slamming doors. I had to go down to reception several times, even around 1:30 AM, to ask someone to make them quiet down, as no one from the staff seemed to care. The hotel manager himself was extremely rude and unprofessional. The room itself was in poor condition:– burnt-out lightbulbs that were never replaced;– the landline phone didn’t work, so it was impossible to reach reception without going downstairs;– the TV was frozen and unusable;– overall, the hotel felt neglected and poorly maintained.Breakfast was very basic and not replenished regularly. Most of the staff were impolite, with the exception of the receptionists and the bar/restaurant team, who were kind and helpful. To make things worse, during my stay a man fell from the third floor onto the terrace of the second, which speaks volumes about the building’s poor maintenance and overall lack of safety. The hotel might have potential if properly renovated and better managed, but in its current state it’s simply run-down, noisy, and unpleasant to stay in.❌ Definitely would not recommend — not worth the money or the stress.

Still No Driving License After Two Weeks – Avoid This Hotel at All Costs!

    rating21 May 2025

Our stay here was a complete nightmare from start to finish. Most of the staff were incredibly rude and unprofessional, with the exception of one kind woman at reception and the kitchen staff, who were the only decent part of the place. Everyone else made us feel like we were bothering them just for asking basic questions. We were overcharged €10 for a hotel taxi, only to find out later that a local taxi would’ve cost £20 less. When we raised this, the manager had the nerve to argue with us and basically accused us of lying, insisting they “always” tell guests the price – which they absolutely didn’t. It made us wonder – if we hadn’t found out on our own, would they have ever told us or given the money back? Highly doubtful. Then there’s the absurd towel policy: 2 towels per person per day, no extras allowed. Breakfast was terrible — low quality, bland, and barely anything worth eating. The first room they gave us smelled like raw sewage. It was unbearable, and we immediately requested a change. The second room was dark and depressing, with barely any lighting even during the day. The mirror was tinted so badly you couldn’t even see yourself properly. Who thought that was a good idea? The hotel is also split between two buildings – something they don’t mention at booking. If you end up in the second building (which we did), there’s no reception, and the phones in the rooms don’t work. So you have to walk across the street just to talk to someone. The only alternative is contacting them via WhatsApp – convenient if you have a smartphone and internet, but useless otherwise. The absolute worst part of our experience came during checkout. They took my driving license as a deposit, but they forgot to return it. Yes, I should have double-checked — but so should they, since they’re the ones holding onto important documents. When I contacted them from the airport, they told me I’d have to pay for a taxi back to collect it. After an argument, they reluctantly agreed to post it.Now, nearly two weeks later, I still haven’t received it. After chasing them multiple times, they finally responded saying I needed to pay £31 for postage. When I replied saying I would not be paying anything further, they stopped replying altogether. They’ve read my messages on WhatsApp (their preferred communication method) and are completely ignoring me now. Clearly, they never sent it and have no intention of doing so.In short: this place is badly managed, dishonest, and disrespectful to their guests. From the overcharges and attitude to the dark, smelly rooms and ignored messages — it’s clear they don’t care at all.Albania is a truly beautiful country with breathtaking views, amazing food, and lovely people. I 100% recommend visiting — just don’t ruin your experience by staying at this hotel.

I was a victim of sexual assault and the hotel denied everything and made me out to fabricate the story.

I Was a Victim of Sexual Harassment — Do Not Book This HotelDo not book this hotel. During my stay, I was the victim of sexual harassment by a member of staff. A man who was sent to my room to fix a heating issue tried to touch me and then offered me €50 for a kiss. It was shocking, disturbing, and completely inappropriate — especially as a woman travelling alone.
