  The hotel was clean , well positioned near the centre of the city and staff especially at reception were friendly . Why only a 3 ? Well if it were not for the friendly reception team it would have been a 2 because : 1) little external noise but much noise between rooms and from the corridor . You could hear neighbouring bathroom activity and late night corridor conversations as well as noise echoing from reception 2) breakfast was 'adequate' or 'average' . After a week I longed for alternatives 3) wifi coverage in the room was poor at best . Once I hooked into the Lobby reception improved somewhat but only at ground level inside ( not the patio ) but in the room I continually couldn't get in and lost calls etc 4) the room was certainly not big although more or less adequate and I had to request a chair ( which was quickly provided )

  I was travelling with a group and stayed here on the last night of that trip, I was to move on to another hotel the next night. The other hotel cancelled me at the last minute and made no arrangements for somewhere else. This hotel accommodated me at very short notice. All the staff here were friendly and helpful. I was in two different rooms and both were good. The location is great right in the Centre.

  We were there last year in January. The bedroom was large, but for heating, it had an old air conditioner that took a long time to defrost in order to heat the room. Because of this, my daughter developed a fever. The breakfast was ordinary, and there was an older man (who appeared to be the owner’s father) who was very harsh with my children, constantly telling them to sit down because he was afraid they would do something. There had no heating, so we were forced to eat our meals with our jackets on. As a parent, I do not recommend it at all. Besides the good location and parking, there was nothing good about it.

  I was dropped here recently by the taxi, it was the wrong hotel - it was soooo late, around 2.30am and the reception were beyond helpful. Found me my hotel. I was panicked, tired and stressed and they were so calm. Hadn’t heard of my hotel but they researched and showed me to it.

  Tirana is such a great discovery for travelers - and without the masses of instagramer and tik tok crowds. So make your visit soon ! The vila e Arte has an excellent location - just five minutes flat walk from the airport bus stop! The number 1 bus to Porcelan (for the cable car) is located here as well.You walk through an arch to find the hotel quietly hidden behind a government building. Outside - the hotel has a small car park, and a lovely deck area with tables, chairs and umbrellas.On the ground floor is reception, bar area, and breakfast room. There is one small lift. Check in was friendly and helpful. Though English is a second language, all staff communicated with ease.Our allocated room was on the first floor. We had twin comfortable beds, flat screen tv, a fridge. Hanging space and desk area. The shower room was very small but the shower worked well. There was little space to put your bathroom items. My only criticism of the room was poor lighting, with one ceiling light and one bedside light - both with harsh led bulbs.There was a fair bit of noise around 7.30am from what we think is a primary school close by. Ask for a room on the other side if you don’t like morning noise.Breakfast was continental, with a few hot items. Good yoghurt and superb seasonal strawberries were available - and soon devoured. Latest check out is 11am and the hotel will look after your bags if leaving the city late. The airport bus runs on the hour. I strongly advise being at the bus 15 minutes before departure, as it seems to depart full all day ! A lot of reviews mention how friendly the staff are, and I have to totally agree!
