Great hotel for a 3 night stay in Tirana. Room was excellent, well equipped and nice and quiet. WiFi did sometimes break up (room 602). Breakfast was great, never seen such a choice of fruit. Breads, cakes, in fact almost all tastes catered for. Shame the hot food such as baked beans weren't very hot but think its an Albanian thing, as food wasn't too hot in restaurants either.The pool area was perfect, never too busy, lovely pool, sauna etc.Only sour note was on checkout, they went to check the room was OK. Felt like a criminal on death row waiting ! Never had that lack of trust on any city hotel we have stayed in.In saying that, would recommend it to stay.

We only stayed here one night at the end of a tour of Albania. We had stayed at another hotel at the start of our vacation in Tirana and wish we had stayed at Xheko the whole time. The room was beautiful and comfortable and the receptionist was particularly friendly even offering to pack us a "to-go" breakfast since we were departing very early the next morning. The pool area was refreshing and clean and the location of the hotel was good. I would recommend this hotel if going to Tirana.

If you are American DO NOT stay at this hotel. They advertise as luxury, when in reality it is very disgusting. The staff are not well trained. Avoid this hotel at all costs. I recommend the plaza hotel for Americans.

Nice rooms, good location. Rooms do not have good sound proofing, guests can hear noise from other rooms and outside on the street.We were the first at breakfast and everything was cold.

This is a wonderful hotel. It has old world charm, elegant and calm, but with all the amenities and service of a top modern hotel. The location is excellent. The center of the city, right next to the main park and the bridge over the river. A five minute walk to many city attractions and historical sites. The check in was seemless, and this is after driving them crazy with countless emails before we got there. The kids' rooms were lovely (deluxe king) and we upgraded to a prestige room (room 708- I recommend it) next to them. All the rooms were well appointed but when we went in, they were facing the rooftop bar and I was so nervous about the noise over the weekend nights that I went down to ask for a change. They were totally full but Zen did some engineering and found us another room. Needless to say, I was totally wrong about the noise. Yes, there is some music coming from the bar, but it is minor and not enough to keep you up at night. The breakfast was huge, fresh and delicious, even for vegetarians like us. The pool is beautiful, calm and just the right temperature. I had a relaxing massage and just in general the staff was delightful, friendly, always trying to accommodate and be kind. The rooms were impeccably clean, and the cleaners were lovely. The a/c was maybe a touch weaker than if you like your room ice cold, but we were very comfortable. The showers were strong, and there were balconies with chairs and a table to sit at and enjoy the balmy evening. They even let us check out late in one of our four rooms- a huge help with kids. It was really a perfect weekend. I can't recommend this hotel enough. We will surely be back.
