Good hotel but with remarks

We stayed here 7 nights to rest and to enjoy the view and the sea just în front of the hotel over a small road. The hotel and room was very clean, the towels and bed sheets changed every day. The room had everything to make our stay confortabile. The breakfast was sufficient but every morning the same menu, except the coffee which was terrible bad. The nearest shop is at aprox. 600m and the terminal bus station to the centre of the town is at aprox. 700m.Unfortunately, we didn't sleep 2 nights due the wedding party at a beach restaurant just in front of all hotels of 4 and 5 stars at less than 50 meters. The music was so loud that, even with plugears, it was impossible to sleep, there were also fireworks and laser beams all over the hotels including Gold hotel, a nightmare! We understand, of course, that the hotel owner is not guilty for it, but the proximity of this restaurant in front of the hotel could affect sometimes the rest of the tourists and so it is a vulnerability of this hotel.

Great Holiday amazing hotel

What an absolutely wonderful hotel and such amazing staff! From the moment my cousin and I arrived, we were made to feel so welcome by the owners, Freddie and Iona, along with Erickson, Floria the barman and waiter, the lovely girl at breakfast, and, last but by no means least, the chef, who cooked the most amazing food.The hotel is super clean and has everything you could possibly need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. It’s also perfectly located, right across the road from a fabulous beach club with a huge swimming pool, while a beautiful sandy beach is just a 10-minute walk away.We had a truly fabulous time at Hotel Gold and would 100% come back, mainly because of the fantastic hospitality and warmth we received from everyone. Nothing was too much trouble, and they really made our stay special.Thank you, Gold, for giving us such an amazing first trip to Vlorë, Albania. We absolutely loved it and will definitely be back! A perfect stay

We very much enjoyed or stay here. We loved the location (close but not too close to the busy boulevard), the sea view, our beautiful bedroom with all the amenities, impeccable bedding and cleanliness, the quiet. Breakfast was excellent and the staff could not have been more welcoming and friendly. We parked straight outside the door and there were great restaurants nearby. A really perfect place to stay to discover this stunning and fascinating country.

The hotel is well made and also maintained. In general it has been a wonderful stay. Good service and we were able to check-in early. Parking can be a bit taught as a main road is just outside. We had some luck and were able to secure a spot right outside the hotel. This made our stay easier to we were not required to worry about the car, as it was a rental. When it comes to the rooms, they have been cleaned everyday and i have nothing to complain about. The small thing that everyone should know is that the beds are very stiff. So if you like a soft bed, this is not the hotel for you. The AC requires you to close the windows. This is not made totally clear and can be a hassle to figure out. Additionally, the AC is not turned on during your absence and this makes the room like a souna when you get back. The breakfast is OK, not the best and by far not the worst. So it’s job and make your stay a bit more comfortable.

Stunning hotel, in and out, and exceptional service.

One of several new hotels at the south end of the main promenade, all of which look beautiful, especially at night.But Hotel Gold really stands out. The exterior has the most beautiful ‘Dubai’ style gold brickwork but the magic happens when you enter your room.Modern, spacious, stunning balcony views and best of all, the service and friendliness of Fred the owner and his staff.I’d live there if I could.
