Exceptional stay – comfort, food, and a great base for cycling

    rating17 Jul 2026

We had an exceptional stay at this hotel, in a room in the Abba Suites building. The food was excellent, and dinner at the restaurant was truly top-notch. WiFi coverage was outstandingly strong throughout the property. The room was comfortable and spacious, giving us plenty of room to relax, and we made good use of the garage parking, which was very convenient. The location is also excellent as a base for road cycling tours. Overall, a wonderful experience we’d gladly repeat. Miquel Martínez, Owner at Abba Xalet Suites Hotel, responded to this review Dear natalija_a,We sincerely thank you for sharing your wonderful review of your recent stay at our hotel. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed the comfort and spaciousness of your room in the Abba Suites building, as well as the excellent quality of the food and our dinners in the restaurant. We are especially pleased that the Wi-Fi coverage and the availability of garage parking contributed to your comfort and made your stay even more convenient and enjoyable. It is also a pleasure to know that you found our location ideal as a starting point for cycling routes, thus enhancing your experience in Andorra. Nice hotel, great staff

    rating26 Jan 2026

A great hotel and amazing staff! When I arrived (after a 3hr coach journey), I wasn't sure what to expect when told there are two buildings and I was in the other. In reality, it's roughly 100m between the buildings so not an issue. The staff, as I mentioned, are amazing. I speak a few words of Spanish and zero Catalan but everyone was so patient. The staff, to varying degrees, speak English and I didn't find communication and issue at all. They're extremely helpful too! The location is great if you're not bothered about going out in the evening. I don't so can't comment about getting into town but I wouldn't say it's walkable. Maybe someone knows different... The shuttle between the ski areas is reliable and easy. The only downside is having to set a time to return. Sometimes, you just get too tired or wet or cold and want to finish skiing early; other times you want to continue. The food varied between fantastic to meh but always edible and good enough. I had a superior room and it was warm, spacious, comfortable and clean. The small balcony was a nice touch to view the mountains. I did find the road noise a bit intrusive but it didn't really prevent sleeping. Light sleepers should probably bring ear plugs though just in case. I highly recommend the sauna area. That was very nice after the last day skiing. I definitely plan to return! Miquel Martínez, Dueño at Abba Xalet Suites Hotel, responded to this review Dear Lee G,We sincerely appreciate you taking the time to share such a detailed and positive review of your recent stay at our hotel. We are delighted to hear that, despite your initial concerns about our two buildings, their proximity proved convenient and did not pose any problems during your visit. We are honored to receive your kind words about our team, and especially grateful to know that our helpfulness, patience, and ability to communicate in different languages ??contributed so positively to your experience. We are also pleased to hear that you found your superior room warm, spacious, comfortable, and clean, and that the small terrace allowed you to enjoy the mountain views. We have noted your observation regarding road noise; due to our location near a main access road, there may be more activity outside at certain times of day. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and appreciate your suggestion for guests who are more sensitive to noise. We are also pleased to hear that you enjoyed the shuttle service to the ski slopes and that, in general, the variety and quality of the food met your expectations. We also appreciate your recommendations regarding the sauna area and the convenience of our location for those seeking tranquility outside the city center. We are deeply grateful for your recommendation and it will be a true pleasure to welcome you back on your next visit.Sincerely,Miquel MartínezDirectorAbba Xalet Suites Hotel
