  Perfect location to ski slopes and lifts

  Location to slopes: We have stayed in most of the ski hotels along this road. The Guineu is perfectly places for a very short walk to access to slopes. Rooms:- bedroom: very modern and clean. Linen and towels changes very 2 days. Bathroom: Constant hot water, modern walk in shower. Disappointed lack of toiletries only a pump soap in shower and at the sink. In other hotels same star rating body lotion and shampoo/ conditioner supplied. Only one toilet roll no spare, only replenished when room cleaned. No toilet brush. Very personal niggles but overall it was fine. The fire alarm was missing from the ceiling. Bar area: fully functional albeit a little outdated. Restaurant: outdated furniture and small. The buffet was small but what was offered was lovely, choice of meat, fish, salad, pasta etc each night. Breakfast again small but completely sufficient. Locker room: in the garage area just more safe seating needed. Lockers the same as most places. Staff: Amazing. Nothing was too much trouble for them. All very friendly. Overall would stay again.Being picky:- lack of toiletries. No toilet brush. The main issue was unable to control the temperature in the bedroom it was roasting. It was pre set and covered so you couldn’t alter it.

  This was the third time I have visited the hotel Guineu. Brilliant location, good plentiful food choice, simple and filling. Warm , comfortable rooms. Absolutely fantastic location for slopes and ski shop (Duna Blanca). Friendly staff. I will be going again January 2027.

  We have just returned from a week’s stay at Hotel Guineu as part of our crystal ski package.Facilities: The hotel had a relaxed vibe throughout and check in was easy. The rooms have recently been refurbished and were very modern. We had a separate shower and toilet, his and hers sinks and good storage. The rooms aren’t huge but more than adequate for two people. Beds were comfy and the room was always warm. There is a bar and dining area on the floor and the basement has enough storage for your ski equipment. Lockers are assigned to your room numbers so no need to worry. There is wifi available and never had any connection issues.Food: Breakfast and dinner both had a solid selection to cater for majority of people’s needs. It is buffet style but the food was always fresh and tasty.Location: The hotel is ideally situated about 2 min walk from the slopes/lifts. There’s plenty of restaurants/bars within a short walk. Shops and supermarkets are also easy to get to.Service. The staff at the hotel were always super helpful and polite. Rooms were cleaned daily We had a wonderful time staying here and wouldn’t hesitate to come back in the future.

  Great location, Food is an absolute joke, there are no Tea/coffee or Kettle in the room, staff unhelpful. Breakfast very cold and raw, dinner Fish and cold. We didnt come for the food we came as the slopes are close by. Read reviews before you book.

  Absolutely Fantastic – A Perfect Hotel for Individuals and Groups Alike!I’ve had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Guineu on multiple occasions – both as a solo visitor and as part of a large school group of 55 students and staff – and each time has been nothing short of exceptional.From the moment you arrive, the staff welcome you with such warmth and genuine hospitality that you immediately feel at ease. Whether travelling alone or with a large group, they go above and beyond to ensure everything runs smoothly. No request is ever too much, and every need is handled with care, professionalism, and a smile.The rooms are always clean, tidy, and spacious, providing a comfortable environment for rest after a long day. The facilities are well-maintained, and it’s clear that the hotel takes great pride in cleanliness and presentation.The food is a particular highlight – varied, delicious, and with options to suit everyone, including our group of young students who always had something they enjoyed.Special mention must go to Jordi and Zanti, who were simply incredible with our students. Their friendly, approachable nature and willingness to help made a huge difference, and they contributed greatly to the overall success of our stay.Hotel Guineu is a truly welcoming, well-run, and flexible hotel, perfect for both personal travel and educational visits. I wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend it to others. A big thank you to the entire team for always making our experience so memorable!
