  Decent facilities, questionable service

  The pros : good size rooms, with good choice of amenities in the bathroom. The cons : reception isn’t coping very well with volumes. Room was quite noisy with rooms coming from the street, soundproofing is very basic. Cleaning of the rooms is questionable, when opening the curtains I found some underwear belonging to a previous guest. hotel Baia, Guest Services / Front Office at Hotel Baia Luanda, responded to this review Dear Olivier Bernard,Thank you very much for taking the time to share your opinion with us.   Best views in Luanda

  Best hotel in Luanda! Great views from the top floor, and a very good breakfast. The staff are fluent in Portuguese and English and the wifi connection was good. The top floor had a bar, pool, gym, spa and the best view of the ocean.   Food was good, service very polite by employees. Always ready to improve.Need to improve on adding more TV channels. Good part is that different than other hotels they have sports channels and that’s a plus.   Comfortable stay for short period

  Quick 1 day business trip. Bedroom and bathroom were clean and adequately lighted. Safe available in room and TV had several international channels in multiple languages. Bathroom had large shower and hot water was plentiful. Good hand and bath towels. Breakfast buffet had a reasonable selection, I would rate as adequate and lunch buffet was the same. Staff were helpful.Location is good, 15 minute east drive to Ministry of Petroleum office. +/- so minute drive to the airport.
