  Highly recommend!

  If you enjoy laid back Luxury this resort is for you. Its a quick 10-15 minute ride from the airport. Once you arrive its like stepping into an breezy open air art gallery. We were greeted with cold drinks and welcoming staff. Its a intimate boutique type of resort so if you want a party feel this isnt that. They have many room categories from garden rooms to villas. You won't have to worry about being over crowded because they only have 79 rooms. The rooms were clean and spacious. I stayed in a deluxe Oceanfront Room and it had amazing views and a spacious balcony. The food is also great. The breakfast was fresh, the lobster was scrumptious and the Asian restaurant had some delicious tomahawk shortribs that you'll want more of!! I especially loved being whisked away over to Prickly pear island. Its just something about having the private island access that feels exclusive. And becsuse its home to spaceman Boonji you get a chance to get your iconic IG pics! It was my first stay but Im sure it won't be my last.

  A piece of paradise!

  We had the most wonderful family holiday at Hodges Bay, which started with an upgrade to a 4-bedroom seafront villa that was stunning. I could have looked out at the sea forever. Beautiful. We slept so well in the enormous, comfortable beds, enjoyed games of cards at the kitchen table overlooking the sea, and enjoyed reading on the patio, where we had comfy chairs, sun loungers and a hot tub. The hotel is full of amazing art that, even as a scientist, I greatly enjoyed -- from the huge, shiny hearts in the entrance with emotion/life equations on them to the giant spaceman on the pier by the sea. Fantastic! The pools and beach are top notch, and it was a treat to be able to use the hotel's paddle boards/kayaks/jet skis. It was safely monitored too, with flags telling you when it was safe to go out. As if this wasn't enough, the hotel also has its own island that you can catch a boat to and from on demand during the day. It's indescribably beautiful with a beach and bar and shallow waters that you can snorkel in and see loads of life! We ate in the hotel for breakfast and for several evening meals, and the food was delicious. There's also a coffee shop that we frequented, and a great gym to help you burn off all the extra calories! I think it rates as one of our best family holidays, with the staff being so helpful with any questions/ideas we had. We didn't want to leave, and we really hope to return one day.   A beachside happy place

  Our first visit to the island of Antigua as a result of Dubai being closed. From the moment we arrived to rum punch and a beach side suite we felt at home. Breakfast was good and lunch at the paradise that is Prickly Pear special. I can explain how gorgeous prickly pear is. Rupert looked after us at the bar with a sense of humour and always a smile. We had butler service and all 3 of Jinathan Craig and michael were all super helpful. The only criticism we have is the rooms are tired in the original block room 1304 and the bathroom and shower are a let down. Overall an amazing stay just book it !   You need to try this place - DONT wait

  This will be an unforgettable experience for you and your loved ones. All aspect of the property is perfect and the staff makes sure you will feel like family when you are there. We celebrated anniversary and the front desk by Jean Marie did go out of the way to make sure this was an event. We was greeted by a cocktail, early check in, and I mean very early, a room upgrade that was out of this world, a room that was made up for the occasion and champagne, fruit and chocolate. This is truly people that want you to feel speciel and they truly do. THANK you so much Hodges Bay for having both the people and the facilties that would want you to come back, ANYTIME.A note about the spa, I tried to find out online if there was a sauna and steam room, but no information was available, so I was pleasantly surprised to learn they have both, also here at the spa, they surprise and please you.   A great relaxing family holiday

  Amazing stay and weekLots of highs and some lows Great service at breakfast and also at the pool bar. Really good Pool bar great all day. Also loads of help getting beds and stuff. Breakfast was great and lots of options, good coffees and fresh eggs/omlettes as you want them. Very relaxing and plenty of space everywhere and no issues getting a spot where you want. Prickly pear island is amazing and the service over there is fantastic. Good to go for an afternoon. Boat driver very friendly and lovely. Water sports guys were great with the jet skis and kayaksLunch hit and miss at main restaurant. Some waitresses don’t want to be there and come across very very rude. Can be very slow. The same people also occasionally help at breakfast. But some are absolutely amazing and are really trying to make up for it. Like Abney who was just a dream. Shanica was also very good. (And a lady wearing a broken foot boot who I don’t get her name)Evening meals we ate out a lot and there are some great spots close by. Mumma Mia, Gather and Bistro all very good. Great local taxi service you can WhatsApp and quick pick ups. Craig was very good. Evening meals at hotel were ok but similar service and food not up there with the local restaurant options. Room was fab and ideal for a family of 4. Had a hot water and pressure issues with the showers, but they sorted it after 3 days and Brian was amazing and on it. He sorted it in the end an made the difference. Thank you. We then changed rooms and were very well looked after. Manager was lovely and helped to sort everything. Buttler service very worthwhile having in your package. It was great and they sorted absolutely everything and responded very quickly Gym is great for a quick morning workoutsSpa staff are very friendly and helpful Coffee shop is never really open and hard to get served. But has some great options when someone is there. Location is amazing and the views are spectacularThere’s is a Japanese restaurant opening soon which looks like it could be really really good for the evenings. It looks like an amazing location. Beach is fabulous Kids pool is great but dead most of the day when we stayed as not many families with young children. Front desk were lovely and a big help.
