    Gorgeous place to stay for couples. Not a touristy beach. Loved the excellent customer service from each team member. Beautiful cottages, secluded, quiet, clean, & the food was truly something extra special.

    Great place to stay for your honeymoon. The beach is very private, everyone has their own chairs and bed so theres no rushing in the morning to get a good spot. The food was amazing, I was nervous about there only being one restaurant but the menu was different every day. We never had a bad meal. The grill is also great if you want to chill on the beach and have lunch, I personally couldn’t get enough of the shrimp quesadillas. Shirley Heights is a must! The hotel has a taxi shuttle on Sundays and Thursdays which is when Shirley Height has live music, drinks and bbq food. Amazing spot to see the sunset and Nelson’s dockyard below.     The hotel’s location is excellent. The beach is beautiful!The room we stayed in was very good. However, one thing I did not like was the “open-air” shower. I understand the hotel’s concept of placing guests in close contact with nature, but I would suggest reconsidering this type of feature. For example, if it is raining, it becomes impossible to shower comfortably, and the wind can also be quite unpleasant.The cleanliness is very good. There is no noise. We spent seven nights falling asleep to the sound of the ocean waves.The service is good. Everyone is very kind and does everything possible to make guests feel comfortable.As I am vegetarian, I experienced some difficulties with the food, especially at dinner. There were vegetarian dishes available, but, except for the tofu served at lunch, the dinner options consisted mainly of vegetables and greens. It seems to me that there is still a limited understanding of what vegetarianism actually involves, because I missed dishes including chickpeas, lentils, beans, peas, and other types of plant-based protein in the meal options.
