  We have sent two different employees to this hotel at separate times over the last month and have nothing but praise for the Lord Nelson and it's staff. The pricing is very fair, they accept american express (not easy to find in Antigua), and have been extremely responsive to me every time that I have reached out via email, phone, or whatsapp from the US. The staff treated our employees very well, and were incredibly accommodating, able to help us with anything that was requested - even finding a trustworthy taxi to urgently pick up one of the guests from the other side of the island. One of the easiest international bookings we have had, and at the top of the list for customer service, cleanliness, and location. The view from the hotel is beautiful, and there is a kitchen to utilize for cleaning and cooking any fish you catch nearby.

  The room was right on the beach and close the airport. No frills but nice accommodations. Basic, but relatively good value.

  We stayed at the Pineapple Beach Club for 5 days in January and on the way home our flight got cancelled due to weather. We were with 2 other couples. None of us were happy paying the extravagant prices at the Pineapple and looked for something else. We were very lucky to find a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom hotel for the night! It was only in the mid $500s! Thats less than what we paid at the Pineapple for 1 night for 1 couple. Our rooms were basic, but clean and safe. Right on the ocean with a balcony. A flat screen tv, full kitchen, and individual air conditions for each bedroom. We were checked in by a very nice man whose name I have forgotten. He brought us to the room, told us a few options for dinner, and offered to make reservations for us. We opted for pizza and he even called so we could order in advance, and even gave us a ride to the pizza place so we could pick it up. A very pleasant stay even during our stressful conditions.

  Very convenient location close to the airport and amenities such as gas station, highway, grocery store. This is not a resort- for that price you don’t leave the premises and enjoy everything on site. Lord Nelson provides you with what you need if you plan to go exploring this beautiful island by car. It has comfortable beach front rooms with kitchen, washer/dryer included, WiFi, parking and a beautiful waterfront to return to and relax. Its location is not overpopulated with beachgoers so you can enjoy the serenity and quiet atmosphere. If you are there for a very short stay, transportation to and from airport can be arranged with taxi service or building manager. Cecelia’s restaurant, Garden Grill and Gather Steakhouse is walking distance along the beach and more than enough to appease any appetite or palate. Delivery services are also available if you prefer to stay in. Stayed here with family a few times over the past 2 years during the off season and will return in near future.
