  Ok Let’s start with a preamble that the selection was not my choice.Starting with the Housekeeping and the cleaning-less is exactly as I wrote .LESS. Room cleaning is once every 10 days even more . Just Basics not cleaning .Sleep quality poor the housekeeping staff are slamming the doors and furnitures of the adjacent rooms without consideration .If you are lucky enough and the neighbor tenants has a small gather , ( party) then you better join them because you will not sleep.In terms of Internet , the tenants has to seek for wi fi codes every week . Speed is very good but not continuously . If you are unlucky and run out of credits after 22:00 then you have to wait until the next day subject to ……..Don’t expect reception , in the event of an emergency you better have a plan B or else your are out. You will be given a phone number to contact with and that’s it.The hotel is a Hostel , suitable for families or students with low budget .A car is absolutely necessary since the Hostel is isolated from everything , no breakfast is available , no shops nearby , the closest canteen is about 2 km from the door and has only the basics like water , soft drinks and chips .The nearest Market is about 20 minutes by car .The hotel is very close to the Airport , 10 minutes maximum . We are sorry to hear that some aspects of your stay did not meet your expectations, and we appreciate the opportunity to clarify a few points.Firstly, we would like to clarify that your company had rented one of our long-term residential units, rather than a hotel room. While long-term residents do benefit from many of the services and facilities available to our hotel guests, the housekeeping schedules and services differ from those provided to our transient hotel guests.Regarding the Wi-Fi, our hotel guests are provided with access codes based on the length of their stay to ensure uninterrupted service. In your case, a monthly code was provided at check-in. Unfortunately, a weekly code had inadvertently been left in the unit and was loaded instead. We recognise that this caused an inconvenience, but we are pleased that the issue was brought to our attention and resolved promptly.We also recommend that guests staying with us for any length of time consider renting a car. This is not only convenient for purchasing provisions but also provides the freedom to explore everything Antigua has to offer. There are, however, restaurants within walking distance of the property offering both lunch and dinner, and we also provide a breakfast platter service for our hotel guests.Finally, while we do not operate a 24-hour reception, our team is present on the property throughout the day and remains contactable after hours by telephone or WhatsApp should guests require assistance.We value all feedback as it helps us ensure that expectations are clearly communicated and that our guests and residents receive the best possible experience. We hope that, despite the issues you encountered, you were able to enjoy your time in Antigua.

  Cannot recommend this hotel enough!

  We have sent two different employees to this hotel at separate times over the last month and have nothing but praise for the Lord Nelson and it's staff. The pricing is very fair, they accept american express (not easy to find in Antigua), and have been extremely responsive to me every time that I have reached out via email, phone, or whatsapp from the US. The staff treated our employees very well, and were incredibly accommodating, able to help us with anything that was requested - even finding a trustworthy taxi to urgently pick up one of the guests from the other side of the island. One of the easiest international bookings we have had, and at the top of the list for customer service, cleanliness, and location. The view from the hotel is beautiful, and there is a kitchen to utilize for cleaning and cooking any fish you catch nearby.

  The room was right on the beach and close the airport. No frills but nice accommodations. Basic, but relatively good value.

  We stayed at the Pineapple Beach Club for 5 days in January and on the way home our flight got cancelled due to weather. We were with 2 other couples. None of us were happy paying the extravagant prices at the Pineapple and looked for something else. We were very lucky to find a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom hotel for the night! It was only in the mid $500s! Thats less than what we paid at the Pineapple for 1 night for 1 couple. Our rooms were basic, but clean and safe. Right on the ocean with a balcony. A flat screen tv, full kitchen, and individual air conditions for each bedroom. We were checked in by a very nice man whose name I have forgotten. He brought us to the room, told us a few options for dinner, and offered to make reservations for us. We opted for pizza and he even called so we could order in advance, and even gave us a ride to the pizza place so we could pick it up. A very pleasant stay even during our stressful conditions.
