Poor Experience avoid at all costs
06 Jul 2026
Nice location on the lake, reasonable service at check in. Room strangely designed and very impractical, pokey small bathroom, electricity outlets in the wrong place. Bed quality OK. Service in the lobby bar was disastrous , worst ever experienced in many years on travel, likewise the dinner service, food quality OK, but no service to speak of, did not even have a printed menu. Breakfast options OK, service slightly better but only just. DEFINITELY DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL

Excellent base for Bariloche

It's a great location on the edge of town with a view over the lake to the mountains beyond. There's a nice place for lunch and a beer on the reception floor (the hotel confusingly has floors above and below reception), and an excellent restaurant for the buffet breakfast. We really enjoyed the spa and swimming pool. The room was really good too. Gerente Operativo, Otro at Cacique Inacayal Lake & Spa Hotel, responded to this review Muchas gracias!!

Lovely location and views, hotel somewhat tired
02 Jan 2026
Amazing location and views, hotel is somewhat run down and in need of much TLC - chipped paint, peeling wallpaper in the hallway. No air conditioning. Service polite but not great. Bath tub didn’t drain. One bottle of water for room but needed to buy more. Gerente Operativo, Otro at Cacique Inacayal Lake & Spa Hotel, responded to this review Dear Sir/Madam, I am very sorry to hear some of your comments. Could you please write to us so that we can identify the room in which you stayed?

Fabulous location on the lake
22 Nov 2025
A very difficult place to review. On the positive side it is beautifully placed right on the lake and we had a lake view which was fabulous. It is also an easy walk into town and all the shops and restaurants. The breakfast is good with the biggest selection of food we had in our entire three week stay and the staff at breakfast were also super friendly, attentive and welcoming. It also has an indoor swimming pool, a table tennis table and a pool table. However I never felt really happy here. The reception staff were a little cold and the hotel a little larger than we like and despite having a super comfortable bed our room was noisy as it was just below the bar and it was difficult to sleep until after 12 midnight when people stopped pulling chairs around and generally making noise. Of course, other rooms wouldn't suffer this. Gerente Operativo, Otro at Cacique Inacayal Lake & Spa Hotel, responded to this review Gracias por sus comentarios, nos ayudan a mejorar esos puntos.
