A gem still sparkling after 75 years.

This hotel was built in 1951 and it's like going back to the day it first opened. It is well preserved but has all the modern conveniences we expect. It is so charming, with helpful staff, a good breakfast and a fabulous view of Lago Nahuel Huapi and the mountains surrounding it. The location is very close to the town center. There is a bus (#20) that can take you to some fabulous locations near the city. Cerro Campanaria and Llao Llao park are 2 we did. There are also great travel agencies. We recommend OTP Gaston at 265 Mitre in Bariloche. I wasn’t sure what to expect when we booked Hotel Tres Reyes, but it honestly exceeded all expectations. The location is actually great — about a 10-15 minute away to the old town and beaches, but in a much quieter, more relaxed part of the city. It felt like the perfect balance between convenience and peace.The hotel itself is modern, clean, and feels very new. Our room was super comfortable with a spacious bed, blackout curtains (a huge plus), and a great shower. We also had a little balcony with a view of the mountains, which was a lovely bonus for morning coffee.What really stood out was the staff — everyone we spoke to was kind, helpful, and genuinely seemed to care that we were having a good stay. We didn’t eat at the restaurant, but the lobby bar was great for a nightcap, and there’s a nice little outdoor area too.If you’re visiting San Sebastián and want somewhere that’s a bit more chilled than staying directly in the old town but still within easy walking distance, I can definitely recommend Tres Reyes. Would happily stay here again!
