Location

The hotel is located in the city centre of Bariloche, 2 blocks from the civic centre and the commercial area of the city and 3 blocks from Lake Nahuel Huapi. Bariloche's bus terminal is 10 minutes away. The hotel has a strategic location with easy access to Avenida Bustillo and Avenida de los Pioneros, the main roads to and from the Cerro Catedral ski resort (approximately 25 km away). The village of Villa La Angostura can be reached in about an hour and a half by car, and Teniente Luis Candelaria International Airport is only 20 minutes away (around 25 km).

Facility

2 apartments, 34 single rooms and 34 double rooms are located on 6 storeys and can be reached by lift. English-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. A number of shops, including a supermarket, are great for shopping or just browsing. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand and a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Further services and facilities include a car hire service, medical assistance, room service, an alarm call service, a laundry service, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. Bicycles can be kept in the bicycle storage area.

Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed or a queen-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels and WiFi (no extra charge) provide all the essentials for a comfortable holiday. A shower, a bathtub and a bidet are included the bathrooms. For additional convenience, bathrooms also provide a hairdryer. As a special feature, bathrooms are also stocked with cosmetic products and a selection of towels. Wheelchair-friendly rooms can be booked. The hotel has family rooms, non-smoking rooms and smoking rooms.

    Clean friendly professional hotel in downtown Bariloche! Appreciated its proximity to downtown restaurants and night life. The rooms are small but has the amenities you need. Would appreciate a larger desk for work but it was sufficient. Rooms have a large fan, safe, and bathroom is complete with a bidet. Staff is friendly and breakfast is a decent start to the day! Not close to the water if you are looking for views of the lake. Appreciated the stay as a 1st timer to the town!

    OK place to stay, close to the craft breweries

    We stayed here one night, the rooms could use a renovation, very old carpet and the smallest shower we have seen in Argentina. The free breakfast is the usual fair, but in a bright cheery room. What sets this place apart is the location. Off the touristy area and right around the corner from the craft breweries, and still only 3 blocks from the lake. For 1 night it was fine.

    Hotel "Carlos V" is a perfect place to stay in Bariloche‬. I have stayed there for 4 nights during my trip to Argentina. The room was clean, very comfortable, and the staff (Diego) was amazing. Great attitude, Helpful and always available for my questions and concerns. He went over and beyond to help make my stay in Bariloche enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Bariloche. All the best for Carlos V and Diego and hope to see you again in the future!     The hotel is right in the center of town. You can easily walk to waterfront and the main shopping street. The rooms are good size with all amenities.     A solid 3 star property conveniently located a few steps away from all amenities. Rooms are a little small and bathrooms are in need of a refurb but are clean. There is good WiFi and staff are polite. Breakfast is very adequate for its category, a continental selection but of good quality items.
