    Deceiving, dirty.

    Deceiving. These photos don’t show reality. The hotel’s reception and breakfast area are ok. However, things change dramatically when you go to the bedrooms. They are dirty and extremely small. I felt disgusted when I walked on the very dirty and stained carpet. The bathroom is very very small, very dirty and things don’t work properly. The closet doors are very hard to operate, the wooden blinds were ripped here and there. The toilet leaks continuously and the bath tub doesn’t drain well. When I showered, the water would not drain and raise by 1 foot or more. The breakfast was ok.

    Reviewed yesterdayRooms are clean and beds are comfortable.Poor assistance.They made a mistake with the reservation.They had no adapter for American plug and said guests should go buy one.Almost no food available at night in covid times and curfew at 19.Awful tables with no tablecloth.Very bad quality Food for breakfast.Some guests go about the hotel without a mask and nobody says anything.The room cards (keys) weren't working properly.Not nice to stay in as from 19.I recommend not staying there unless you can stay out all day and come back to the hotel only to spend the night and only for a couple of days.La limpieza es buena.Y las camas cómodas.Atención pobre.Cometieron un error con la reserva.No tenían un adaptador para enchufe americano y dijeron que los huéspedes se debían comprar el suyo.No tienen casi nada que ofrecer de comer a la noche con toque de queda a las 19 en tiempos de covid.Algunos huéspedes no usan máscara y nadie dice nada.Las tarjetas (llaves) no funcionaban correctamente.Poco agradable para estar adentro desde las 19.Mi recomendación: no vayan a menos que puedan estar todo el tiempo fuera y resegresen solo para dormir.Y solo un par de días.

    Great location and quiet room. Comfortable bed, good service. Scary elevator with bumpy ride. Clean towels. Bathroom lighting poor. Plenty of hot water. An older hotel catering to tour groups. OK for a few days.

    Disappointed in Bariloche

    Due to a mistake by our travel agent we stayed here for 4 nights instead of a 4 star hotel as paid for. However, this was no 3 star hotel as was rated by the local authority.The hotel smelt damp and musty. We were first given a room with the most ghastly smell and requested to be changed immediately to a different room. This also smelt but not as bad. The bathroom was tiny, the bath taps were rusty and dripped constantly and the flush didn't work properly on the toilet. The shower dribbled out in one direction over to the far side of the half size bath . It couldn't be adjusted. The bedroom was also very small. The beds were extremely narrow and the matresses dipped in the middle. There was no room to swing a cat. There was no fridge in the room as there were in other rooms. The safe was locked and was only opened after 2 days. The walls were very thin and you could hear everything going on in the next room. We had to ask for glasses in the room and there was no mini bar.The breakfast was extremely basic and one morning there were no hot drinks until they were asked for. The food was not fresh and the bread and cakes were sometimes stale. There were no hot dishes on offer. There was a hole in the lounge area ceiling and rain dripping through was caught in a bucket! The staff were friendly and willing but except for one person, who spoke very good English, noone spoke English. The hotel is shabby and the lift shakes. The hotel location is excellent. Right in the centre of the town and a minute's walk from the shops and the lake. We were very disappointed by the standard of this hotel.

    The hotel has a good, central location. It has a beautiful outside appearance as well as the reception and lobby. The elevator tells of a bit of confinement as well as the room and bath. The bath is dark. There was a nice veranda. Everything was always clean. The breakfast was adequate. The staff was witty, helpful and efficient. A pleasant stay that made one want to return.
