Location

This hotel is located on the south coast of the stunning Nahuel Huapi Lake, in Bariloche, the main tourist centre of the province of Rio Negro and one of the main centres in the country. It is situated in the north east region of Argentina, Patagonia. It lies 764 metres above sea level.

    The hotel was clean and the staff attentive and helpful. We were in a superior lake view room, which was huge and with a beautiful view of the lake. The breakfast had a huge variety of items to choose from. Great location close to Main Street and restaurants. Very recommendable hotel for Bariloche.     Absolutely loved Bariloche hits beautiful and full of shops, great bars and restaurants. The Edelweiss is in a great position on the edge of town (its not on the Lake itself but very close).Unfortunately we didn't have a lake view but we went up to the pool and not one there. The pool was very cold but it didn't bother us and we had it to ourselves.The breakfast was great and the staff very pleasant and friendly.     We had a wonderful stay at an excellent hotel. The stuff is wonderful, very kind and extremely helpful, particularly the front desk. The rooms was clean and had a wonderful lake view. We could walk to the city center and to several restaurants in the area. We enjoyed every minute!     Great Hotel near restaurants and bars.

    Strange. Looks like a German place. But Beriloche per se is very strange. Beautiful! But... The best thing in the Hotel was their staff. The lady at the light food bar, was incredible, very attentive, decent. The front desk gentleman was beyond what you can expect in a customer service clerk. So, I can be back because the service was unusual but effective. I give thanks to all the staff for a great stay.
