This modern property is located in the Tango area of Abasto, on Corrientes Avenue, close to the city centre. The hotel is located one block from the Subte metro, only a few minutes from the centre, Recoleta, Puerto Madero, and just in front of the Abasto Shopping Center. It has easy access to Buenos Aires' Ezeiza International Airport, which is only about 30 km away. It is 20 m from the subway (Carlos Gardel Station - Subway line B).

Facility

The hotel has 126 rooms, including 2 suites, 58 single rooms and 59 double rooms, which are located on 19 storeys and are reachable by lift. English-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service. Wireless internet access (for a fee) allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park. Further services include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, a childcare service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service, a laundry service, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. Complimentary newspapers are available. The business centre is on hand for guests' business requirements and provides a fax machine. 5 conference rooms are available for lectures, presentations and meetings.

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and individually adjustable heating. In some rooms, a terrace is included as standard. Rooms have a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. A turndown service provides guests with additional comfort in the evening hours. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower, a bathtub and a bidet. A hairdryer is also provided. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. Some of the wheelchair-friendly rooms have a wheelchair-accessible bathroom. The hotel has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

Sport

Guests can go for an energising swim at the freshwater pool complex (in part heated). Refreshing drinks at the pool bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub offer the perfect way to unwind. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. Leisure activities and facilities at the hotel include a gym, a spa and a solarium or, for a fee, massage treatments. Entertainment options and leisure facilities include an entertainment programme and a kids' club.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a dining room, a breakfast room, a café and a bar. Guests can indulge their palates at the non-smoking restaurant, which features air conditioning and a separate area for smokers. Catering options include bed and breakfast, half board and full board. A continental breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day. At lunch and dinner, guests can choose between à la carte and a set menu. Staff are also happy to provide children's meals.     Appalling response to having found what appeared to be a bed bug in bedding

    I stayed with Abasto Hotel at the end of September 2025. As I was packing down to check out, I discovered what appeared to be a bed bug underneath the pillow of the bed I had been sleeping in. I immediately photographed it, and on checking out shortly after discussed it with reception and showed them the photograph. They requested that I email the photo to them, and they would pass it onto housekeeping to investigate.A week later, I received a response saying the room had been investigated, and no infestation found. Further, they then denied that the bedding in the photograph belonged to their hotel, and implied I was being dishonest about where I took the photograph. I responded by sending them a screenshot of the geotag and timestamp on the photo I took. That was a week ago, and I have not had any further correspondence from them. I was not asking for a refund or demanding anything, merely meant to make them aware so any potential problem could be dealt with. The complete lack of integrity and dishonesty from staff in response to this would make it extremely difficult to recommend Abasto to stay with, if you visit Dachau. It does not instill confidence that, should anything more serious occur, your concerns would be properly addressed.The restaurant was fantastic, but you do not need to stay there to enjoy the restaurant.

    Rude staff, mold in the bathroom, moth eaten curtains. How this hotel can claim a four star rating is beyond me! I had to change my room twice to get a room that was even half decent. The hotel is also situated on a main road and was extremely noisy. Never again!

    One of the worst hotel i ever visited Everything mold, rude people, rude front desk. Alot of rooms the air conditioner doesn’t work.very old nothing works.Front desk not helpful.people smoke in the areas.

    central city hotel with good facilities

    The Abasto is central but is still a long walk from the shops of La Valle and Florida. It is about 30 minutes walk from the obaliska. The rooms are clean and well appointed and the food pretty good. Breakfasts are ample without being mind blowing and the evening meals were very good. The staff were friendly and very welcoming throughout.

    Despite some informality (The hotel is run by a sindicate) there are some good things to say. The rooms are very confortable and quiet, the beds are nice and the baths are huge with very goog equipment. After a hot/cold day you will be glad to be here. The breakfast a bit to simple, but enough. The less good things, the frontdesk service. I went there, the 3 clerks did not see or hear me ...because all of them were on telephones texting. I stood 1 minute in front of one of them and I spoke him, I told him I was exactly a minute in fron of him. It seemed not to like him! Another took my aim and made it. One thing to do: take a walk around the Av. Corrientes and see, how is the real life of Buenos Aires. This is a middle, middle low-class neighborhood. Take a bit of care, but not to much!
