    Simple but very convenient and has everything needed for a stay in Buenos Aires. Location is key, super friendly staff, the cafe Experiencia has wonderful breakfast ( included with stay)

    Great place to stay. Paula, front desk clerk, was amazing and So helpful with recommendations and suggestions. We had originally booked the Art Hotel, which was terrible, and found this as a replacement and we couldn't of been happier! Happy travelers makes for a happier vacation! Breakfast provided for by the cafe next door was always yummy and fresh of either a croissant egg sandwich or scrambled eggs on toast along with coffee and fresh squeezed OJ. Ignacio, our waiter every morning, was always lovely and happy to serve us our meal. Rooms were clean and modern with comfortable kings size bed.

    Recommend an executive room as so much bigger than a standard for not much extra cost. Our room had a sofa, chair and desk as well as lots of storage space and a mini fridge. Walk in shower. Comfortable bed. Good air con. WiFi was good. Complimentary bottle of wine was a nice touch. Breakfast was fairly simple cold buffet but adequate. Location was OK. Safe. Plenty of eateries around. Most sights were at least 30 mins walk but subway is just around the corner and an uber ride even to La Boca is only around 7,500 pesos. If you are looking for city hotel with no frill for the price paid Arenales is a great deal. Marina Behar, Director General at Hotel Arenales, responded to this review Thank you for your review.     Excellent place to stay included breakfast next door very secure was traveling with my son visiting family

    In December must be busy time only stayed one night visiting my aunt in BA Barrio Norte wanted to stay at least two nights that’s all they had available very nice place very secure included breakfast at the restaurant next to the hotel excellent Marina Behar, Director General at Hotel Arenales, responded to this review Thank you for your review.     Horrible treatment by staff member

    The worst I’ve ever been treated by hotel staff in my entire life. The agency made a mistake and booked the wrong room. Instead of being patient and helping resolve the issue, the small angry man at the reception named Maximiliano Schiaffino pounded his fists on my door demanding that I leave the room every 10 min. Each time showing me another copy of the incorrect reservation (as if it was my fault lol). He slammed the door shut on me, lost his temper, and banged on the door several times. Hotel Arenales please hire people with patience without aggresive tendencies. Problems happen with bookings and this is not how the client should be treated. I was planning on staying over a week here but because of this incident I was forced to cancel early and leave.**Note: The hotel has no pool! The photo on goggle is incorrent, and the standard room is the size of a tiny closet.
