Location

The hotel is located in a privileged area of the city of Buenos Aires. It is one block from the famous Avenida 9 de Julio and Avenida Santa Fe, 3 blocks from Plaza San Martin and Florida Street and 5 blocks from the Pacific Galleries shopping centre. The famous Teatro Colón is nearby and the new Puerto Madero and Palermo are just a few minutes away. The establishment is only 800 metres from Retiro bus station. Jorge Newbery Airport is some 7 km away and the property is 35 km from the international airport of Ezeiza Ministro Pistarini.

Facility

30 single rooms and 32 double rooms are located on 10 storeys and can be reached by 3 lifts. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. A baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service are available. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops as well.     Average hotel in Buenos Aires - not overly impressed

    I traveled to Buenos Aires Oct 20 - 25. The company put me up in this hotel. The air-conditioner barely works. There is some air coming out, but not enough to cool the room. The hotel does not have in room ironing boards / Irons. You have to pay for all laundry, including ironing your clothes. No in room coffee. There is not an exercise room. The breakfast was really rather dull. The pillow was extremely hard. Its an old hotel and shows its age. There are better hotels in this price range. The location is quite nice as there are numerous great restaurants.

    This hotel don’t deserve the 4 stars they show outside. The rooms are old and dirty, the bathroom had cracked sink, the tub was dirty and chipped. The heating is very noisy and not adjustable. Only the breakfast is acceptable. Hotel to avoid

    The staff was very accommodating. We loved the neighborhood. There was a very good steakhouse, cafe, bakery, laundress etc nearby. The location was convenient to sites and we felt quite safe, even in the evenings.

    I rated this hotel poor mostly because of staff comportment. From the very start they behaved haughtily and arrogantly. As we came to the hotel far too early for check in (around 10 am) we could only hope that there was a room ready. OK; there were no rooms but two receptionists could at least offer us to leave our baggage in the hotel while waiting for check in time. They didn't - we have to ask them to do it and they accepted it as if they were doing us a very special favor.When we came back to hotel after 2 pm our baggage was still in foyer - nobody took it to our room. I visited more than 50 countries ... I really do not know how many hotels I've slept in ... but I've never seen such behavior in 4* hotel !Room was far below 4*, to say nothing about cleanness ... breakfast was satisfactory (just that!) and location was pretty much OK.I would never return to this hotel and I definitely do not recommend it!

    The hotel was alright, really Well located with a alright breakfast. The rooms clean and of normal standard. Unfortunately we didn’t get that good impression of the hotel because of the very inflexible man in the reception.
