I am giving it a 2 star review just for the excelent location. The room was very small, air conditioner had some decades workd but just on/off control, no dry/cool/heat function. The worst however was the bathroom, no way of keeping the toilet seat up so it was needed to hold it with your hand while urinating. And it was so badly designed your pee splashed out on you no matter how hard you tried to keep it at the rear end of the toiled, same when you flushed it. No way a 4 star hotel, I've stayed in 2 stars that are far better than this. Can't understand the good reviews, and I decided to stay here because of them, please fellows this is designed to help fellow travellers not the hotel owners... Silvina Ramos, Director General at Hotel Solans Carlton, responded to this review Dear Guest: We are sorry you do not like our Hotel . Have a nice day and kind regards.

    Very good overall

We stayed here for 7 nights over the holidays. The location is great. The hotel is only a block from 9 de julio avenue, and a few blocks from the obelisk. There are plenty of bus stops around and we definitely took adventage of that. The breakfast was a simple continental with bread, eggs, bacon, sweets, fruit and cereal. Enough to get us started in the morning. The service was amazing. The staff, specially at the reception, were very helpful and patient. They made our stay very pleasant, because everything we needed they were there to help. The room was clean, a bit smaller than I expected but since we didn't spend much time there, that didn't bother us that much. The bed was not as comfotable as I would like but the pillows were. The shower was amazing. No complaints here. One thing that I thought it was annoying it was that a couple of times, after they cleaned the room they didn't leave toilet paper and towels. We had to ask for it. Overall this is an very good hotel and I would definitely stay at this place again. Silvina R, Gerente at Hotel Solans Carlton, responded to this review Dear Guest: Thank you so much for your comments, we are glad to know that you enjoyed staying at Solans Carlton Hotel. We wish you have a great 2020 ! Very kind regards.

Here is a hotel that can easily be overlooked when searching for accommodation in BA. It is located just off Av. Santa Fe on the edge of the Recoleta district in a quiet street (well, as quiet as any street in BA can be.) Clean, well serviced by very helpful staff and the rates are very good. There are more places to eat or drink around here than you will need and if you learn to use the bus system in BA then you can get anywhere from here. Silvina R, Gerente at Hotel Solans Carlton, responded to this review Dear Guest: Thank you so much for your comments !! We appreciate them. We hope you can visit us again and we wish you have a great 2019. Very kind regards !!

Fair choice for your stay in BA

+ The 'executive' room was not fancy yet it had OK view, good bed and enough storage space. The shower was strong and warm. The breakfast was nice with lots of fruits (no vegetables though), large variety of tea bags. - The hotel is not new and everything is a bit used. The man on reception that we met upon arrival was rather unfriendly. Bathroom is a bit dark and bidet was weird at best ) The breakfast menu was the same on both days. Silvina R, Gerente at Hotel Solans Carlton, responded to this review Dear Sir: We thank you so much for writing your comments for others visitors. We are sorry for some details that you did not like: we Will work on them. We hope to have you again as a Guest soon. Kind regards !!
