A Timeless Gem for Architecture Lovers – 5 StarsIf you are looking to escape the modern world and "go back in time," this is the place to be. We stayed for four days and absolutely loved the authentic, historic aesthetic. It is not a generic, modern hotel at all—and that is exactly why it is so special.The highlight for us was the incredible 15-foot high ceilings and the preserved old architecture. It makes such a difference to stay in a room with that much character and space.Highlights of our stay:The Setting: The location is perfect. Tucked away in a beautiful suburb as a break from the hustle of Buenos Aires, yet only meters away from the Cathedral and the main square. You are also just a short walk from great shops and restaurants.The Staff: The reception team is exceptional. They are friendly, speak great English, and were immensely helpful throughout our stay. Also we loved having dinner in the beautiful lounge room and also sometime by the beautiful pool .Breakfast: A real treat! Having breakfast in the garden setting was so peaceful. There was a fantastic selection of fresh fruit and high-quality food.This hotel is a beautiful contrast to standard, modern accommodation. We appreciated every historic detail and would come back at any time. Highly recommended for anyone who values soul, history, and a stunning setting!

Great location in a beautiful setting. It's meters from the Cathedral and main square and hundreds of meters from shops and restaurants. The reception staff are exceptional...English speaking, friendly and immensely helpful. Large rooms with 15 foot high ceilings. Such a difference from a generic hotel. Breakfast in a garden setting was very good. All in all, as a break from city Buenos aires in a lovely suburb, it's a great choice

Amazing Boutique Hotel in San Isidro

Lovely hotel, great location next to the cathedral and walking distance to lots of restaurants and a grocery store. We stayed in one of the suites - it was very nice comfortable. Powerful shower, comfortable beds, great breakfast, helpful staff. The workout room is a bit of an exaggeration, but I did enjoy the dry sauna (didn't try the steam room, it was in a different area). The housekeepers did an amazing job cleaning the room, and kept the whole property very pristine. It was a little unclear whether "coffee all day" was a perk or something they wanted to keep secret? Gentle feedback: The room where the breakfast is served does have the coffee machine set up, and the door is not locked - so we figured that out in Day 2, when it was raining and wanted a nice area where we could work that we could make coffee any time of day (also had a canister of nice cookies). However, when we had originally checked in and asked about the availability of coffee/water - there answer was "room service"... Would be a really nice gesture if they kept coffee, some water, and maybe some fruit or snacks in that room all day like a B&B (maybe go crazy and offer wine in there every couple of days?)
