English-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day.     The hotel is in a brilliant location 200m from the Obelisk and 15mins walk to the Cathedral/ Plaza Major.Jonathon on reception was extremely helpful and he helped the hotel achieve a higher rating. We had a room on the 6th floor which really needed improving. It had no USB ports which is now a pretty much given. The cleanliness of the room was poor and the shower door was broken.The breakfast was just ok.Overall, the staff and the location helped it

    Fantastic location, let down a little by lack of repairs at hotel

    It’s a shame the rooftop spa wasn’t in operation and that our bathroom door didn’t close because the location of this hotel is fantastic, rooms were clean, beds comfortable, breakfast good. Also appreciated availability of filtered water.Bus stop outside hotel - direct buses to La Caminata, San Telmo. Plus metro 20m away, then a strollUp the road to the Obelisk and many bars / restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

    Great stay (twice) at Luxor in Buenos Aires. Mid-town, walkable to many sites; a "value" hotel (not posh), but clean, friendly, good included breakfast, and bag-storage also (as we broke our stay, to run up to Iguazu!).     The hotel is located in the city center close to the Obelisk. Easy access to hop on-off bus and Subte station. The room was average, bathroom is moldy, breakfast was ok.     We stayed at this hotel prior to and after a cruise and the staff were amazing both times. I came off the cruise quite ill and we were given a room at 10am hours before check in time. I was incredibly grateful to be treated so well. And, as a bonus, they make great coffee! I can’t recommend these guys enough.
