  Sometimes you get more than what you pay for

  OK, this is a budget hotel. Do not be confused. But it delivers exactly what they promise. Good bed. Quiet room. It was very small but sufficient for the task. The shower was odd... clearly not well designed and had a issue with splash out damaging the wall, but it looks to have been recently repaired. The staff was helpful and there are a number of great dining options nearby. Now if you are here, you probably have to be... this is not a real tourist area and is NOT even close to the fun areas of BA. But if you have to be here for business and need a cheap place to crash... you found it.

  This hotel doesn't have any bells and whistles, but will make do. Bed is comfortable and great pillows. Shower has great pressure and is spacious. Heater and air con in room. Not much option in restaurant, but that doesn't matter as rocker fellas restaurant is right next to the hotel. Great supermarket across the road. A bit of a drive from buenos aires. Staff are friendly and helpful.

  Visiting several countries for business, sometimes I stay at Ibis, which is a basic, but normally decent solution when the visit is short.Ibis Pilar is like all other Ibis in terms of configuration, but the cleaning. My room was not clean enough, especially in the bathroom.   Typical of the European style of a budget hotel

  The room is small with little room for clothing. This is a budget hotel. I found the internet to be very slow. The bed is a good size but very hard. You can not close the shower door without pressing against the wall. Walking distance to cinema grocery store and restaurants. The hotel food is ok but not great. Staff is helpful. The rooms are clean. No pool or gym. I'm rating ok due to the lack of amenities

  PERFECT LOCATION (FAR FROM BUENOS AIRES CITY)

  The IBIS PILAR Hotel is perfect if you want to have fast access to: Shoppings (2 nearby: the Palmas del Pilar Shopping and the Torres del Sol Shopping), both within walking distance from the Hotel -- not more than 300 meters (328 yards) from the IBIS entrance... You're only 500 meters (546 yards) from one of the best meat restaurants (Siga La Vaca Pilar, which I review already) in Buenos Aires! Also nearby, you have 2 cinema complexes, one of them with movies in 4D, and the other with Monster Screen... And also have a Casino within 300 meters (328 yards) from the Hotel! In the same IBIS Hotel building, you have a tiny but cozy mini enertainment centre, with an ICBC Bank brunch, Rock&Feller's brunch (similar to Hard Rock Café, but with different name...) and Almacen de Pizzas (Pizza & Pasta only), if you do not want to walk during the night.It is and ideal Hotel if you rented a car, because they have an excellent parking lot: with and without roof: 2 floors...!Very nice Hotel, if you want to stay for short business travel, for a budget nice honeymoon, or even a short stay with the kids, due to the places to play around the Hotel.
