Location

The hotel is located on Avenida Callao, one of the most historic streets of the city, surrounded by cultural centres such as museums, the national library, as well as the historical squares and parks.

Facility

26 junior suites, 34 suites, 66 single rooms and 34 double rooms are located on 13 storeys and can be reached by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities.     This was our first trip to Buenos Aires. This hotel came highly recommended from an acquaintance. The location is perfect, near shopping and parks. The atmosphere was very professional.     I am currently staying at the Hotel Intersur Recoleta with a tour group of 22 people from the U.S. We have been here for several days. It is the perfect venue for visiting Bueno Aires for the first time. First, is the superb location. Recoleta is a very safe, charming and vibrant neighborhood - one of the wealthier ones in B.A. Many families with young children live here, as well as other residents, which makes the people-watching excellent. Second is the abundance of cafe's, bakeries, shops and restaurants for every taste and budget. This hotel is around the corner from 3 major museums as well as the famous cemetery. You can walk virtually for hours and stop at any time for lunch, a coffee, or any treat.The Intersur itself is spotless, well-maintained and staffed by a very cordial and professional staff (who speak English). Security is good with elevators requiring a room key to access any floor. Their breakfast buffet is large, with delicious coffee. A popular Italian restaurant is located in the lobby and hotel guests receive a 20% discount. My room is in the back, very quiet and sunny.I am very pleased with this hotel choice and will stay here again if I have the opportunity to return to Buenos Aires.     Lovely hotel in a lively neighborhood

    We stayed here for a number of days and had very good service for the most part. The hotel is clean and bright. Stefania at the Front Desk seems to know everything about everything Buenos Aires and was extremely helpful when we needed translation help on the telephone. She has definitely found her calling in hospitality services. Our only complaint was that the room service menu was limited in their offerings across the day and in the late afternoon, the only thing available was ham and cheese sandwiches and fruit smoothies. As rule, we do not normally order room service, but I was ill and didn't want to go to the restaurant for fancy meals.     Great one night stay. Lunch in the Italian restaurant was very good, just what we needed after a long days travel. Staff very helpful, great location. Went to tango show, a must do when in Buenos Aires. Amazing atmosphere, food good but huge portions.

    Old charm hotel in great location

    While visiting Buenos Aires, I stayed three times at this charming hotel. Each time the allocated room was comfortable and clean, with great beds and bedding. Breakfast was in a dining room accessed by a separate lift on ground floor level. A buffet breakfast with a good selection of hot and cold food, fresh fruit, pastries and juices. The dining area is in two sections and had small or larger tables. I didn't dine at Marcello's, the inhouse restaurant and chose room service instead. The QR code didnt work so I went to reception for assistance. The limited menu isn't extensive, but they can provide food from the restaurant if you prefer. I chose a chicken Caesar salad and ice cream. The salad was tasty but a bit salty. The serving was huge - too much for a single diner so I reluctantly left a lot uneaten. The ice-cream serves were delicious but also huge - I could only eat half of it. Reception staff were always helpful and courteous. Great location - walking distance to Recoleta Cemetery, the Yellow Bus stop and Vassilisa chocolate shop. A safe hotel in a safe location and easy for tour pickup. Busy street location but rooms were quiet. Would stay here again.
