    Scam, charged 50USD for storing luggage

    Actually charged me FIFTY USD for storing my luggage. Laughable scam like hotel. Was much better before they recently changed management. You can stay at much nicer hotels that won’t scam you at the price range they are at.

    Hotel Serena is a great small hotel in the perfect location to see Buenos Aires. Front desk staff, especially Arturo and David, were helpful and attractive. The breakfast buffet was very good. I’d return here any time I’m in BA.

    This place is awesome! They fixed me up with an excellent place to eat- La Brigada and then a Tango show at Las Ventana. Staff was very helpful and room very nice. Good breakfast and lunch. Near good shopping and safe neighborhood. Will be back.

    Spent three nights here as part of a visit to Buenos Aires. Typical city hotel; functional, impersonal with adequate services, breakfast, facilities etc.The front desk staff however would benefit from interpersonal skills training; they did the bare minimum expected from hotel desk staff and barely broke into a smile. The least helpful of any staff of any hotel we’ve stayed in.Also, the area is quite close to a large favela, so be very aware and careful when out and about.

    Great location, beautiful rooms, lovely atmosphere. Stayed at this hotel several times and never had a single complain. Recoleta is the best area in town and Serena is located in the very heart of Recoleta, very near "El Patio Bullrich". There are several outstanding restaurant around.
