Average comfort and service

We spent two nights in this hotel that was booked by our travel agency in Argentina. The location is fine, not too far from many interesting places ( Avenida 9 de Mayo, presidential palace, San Telmo market…). However, service was very average, the bathrooms are very small and the breakfast was very disappointing (no fresh juices, no real marmalade, no eggs…). There are better choices in the neighborhood…. We do not recommend this hotel. Gestor de Experiencia, Guest Services / Front Office at Merit San Telmo, responded to this review Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We appreciate your feedback regarding the location and the proximity to various attractions. However, we are sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations in terms of service and amenities. We are committed to improving our services and hope you might reconsider visiting us in the future.Thank you once again for your valuable insights.Kind Regards,Equipo de Merit San Telmo

Three star hotel. Plain & generic. Breakfast no eggs. Service ok. Staff got you items when requested. $59/ nite is pretty cheap. Well located. A variety of people stay here. Adjacent a church. With I g walking distance of Plaza Mayor, Teatro Colon.

The place to stay when in Buenos Aires

Centrally located hotel in San Telmo, short walking distance from all the mayor sights. Quiet street, amazing helpful staff that spoke very well English. Big rooms and a very comfortable bed and a nice bathroom.Enough place to store all our big suitcases and still have enough place to move around freely in the room.

Great hotel, perfect location, clean and comfortable. Huge bed. The staff were all great, felt like a 4 star at least. With a few more amenities I’m sure it would be. Really recommend. Good value for money.
