    Good location in center great&rich&complete breakfast a volonte, ( fresh fruits & vegetables) eggs ,tastfull pastry , comfortable room, great serviable team at breakfast&kitchen and cleaning of room.     Great location but no A/C

    The location of this hotel is very good and we enjoyed walking to several of the things we wanted to see/do. However, the quality of the hotel and some of the staff are sorely lacking. Our main issue was the A/C or more appropriately, the lack thereof. The thermostat in our room, which was falling off the wall, didn't seem to have any effect on anything. The temperature remained 25.5C or 26.C no matter what we did. We notified the front desk but were told that was normal and that the hotel had a minimum temperature of 24C. We survived the next couple of days. But by the 4th day, it was clear there was no air circulation in the room whatsoever. We were assured they'd have maintenance look at it. Nothing improved. By the 5th day they offered to move us to another room. Within the hour. Two and 1/2 hours later we were moved to a new room. That was even worse. No matter what we did, the temperature remained at 28C! I reported one last time to the front desk. He apologize perfunctorily but would not even look at me. I am very certain that he knew he was moving us to a worse room. As for the rest of our first room, besides the thermostat falling off the wall, one of the lamps was falling off the wall, the curtain was ripped, the frame on the room with the toilet was falling off, resulting in a major crashing sound every time it was used (not pleasant in the middle of the night). Lastly, i had laundry done at this hotel. For 4 pair of underwear, 4 t-shirts, 4 pair of sox and 2 pajamas, it was $73CAD!!!! BTW, this was the same day they moved us to another room. A little suspicious? I have probably stayed in hundreds of hotels around the world. This place is NOT 4 star - it's a dump. I do not think I have ever been treated so badly.     A HOSTEL IS BETTER

    Frequent traveller warning you…DO NOT STAY HERE if you expect any better quality or customer care than a bad hostel. If I could give fewer stars I would. I almost never leave a bad review, but you should be warned. We booked and paid for a suite through Amex travel. Arrived to a dark tiny, dirty room adjacent to the elevator shaft with ripped curtains and a smelly lobby. They apologized there were no better rooms available, said they would refund the room in full, directed us to another hotel, and then DENIED our cancellation with Amex. They lied about sending any correspondence and refuse even basic communication.

    A cheap hotel at a cheap hotel price. You get what you pay for. Sparse but clean rooms, threadbare sheets, a shower that works. Air conditioning that makes noise but does not actually cool the room. Is it nice? No. Could you do better? Yes. Is it exactly what you get for the price? Yes. If you're looking for plain and cheap but clean, this is your place.
