    Overpriced and Underwhelming Experience

    The hotel is rated as a star property, but the experience did not meet expectations. Basic amenities like toothbrush, toothpaste, and slippers were not provided. The room was quite small and not worth the price paid. Lighting was inadequate, and the wardrobe space was very limited. There was also no proper desk to sit and work. Overall, not good value for money.

    The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Buenos Aires. The staff were kind and helpful, the breakfast was good and varied, and the gym was quite well equipped. The room was comfortable and spacious.Areas for improvement:
 The hotel would benefit from some renovation. Although the reception area and the rooms feel more modern and appear to have been renovated recently, the common areas feel outdated—particularly the hallways, which give a rather poor first impression. The bathrooms would also benefit from a more modern look. However, since everything worked well and the room itself was very nice, this made up for those shortcomings. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would gladly come back.     My partner booked a stay at the NH Buenos Aires Florida because we've had good experiences with NH hotels in Europe. This hotel was supposed to be a four star hotel, but we wouldn't give it more than two stars. Positives: the location was very walkable, the breakfast room and food were fine, the lobby was fine, and the room was quiet. Negatives: we had booked a room with two beds, but didn't get two and weren't able to switch to a room with two; the terrace that was one of the selling points of our room had no outdoor furniture and had a depressing view of a decrepit, long-closed former Harrod's store; the gym had minimal equipment and wasn't well monitored (e.g., drinking cups for the water cooler not replenished for days); other than a man in the lobby there didn't seem to be any security in the hotel (such as keycard-restricted elevators, security cameras); the front desk staff, although friendly enough, weren't very helpful.     the quality of the services were not what you expect for that pricethe cleanness was clearly not their strong pointall the installations are a bit old, wall paper partially detached from the wall in some placesunsightly repairsthe air conditioner could not be turned offALL the electrical plugs were Argentinean style which are incompatible with American or European plugs, and USB plugs in the bedroom were not with enough power, couldn't charge neither my phone nor my laptopflushing of the toilet not working properly
