Location

The hotel is located in the centre of Buenos Aires, within walking distance of the famous Avenida 9 de Julio, the widest in the world. It faces the Obelisk, a historical place of Buenos Aires, and a few metres from the Teatro Colón, the largest opera house in South America. The bus and train stations are roughly 1.5 km from the hotel.

9 junior suites, 5 suites and 97 double rooms are available. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock.     We had a wonderful stay at NH Buenos Aires Tango Hotel and were very happy with our choice. We wanted to stay at a hotel on the main street, and the NH Tango hotel was perfect for that. Our check-in was smooth and easy. The front desk gentleman was very friendly and helpful. He gave us the room we requested. It was a Junior Suite on the top 9th floor facing the main street, which also had a balcony. The view was absolutely spectacular, looking at the Obelisk and the lights from the advertising screen across the street.The room was spacious and comfortable for the three of us. The hotel’s location is excellent, just a block from the Obelisk and close to grocery stores, restaurants (there is a great Argentinian restaurant Revera (I believe) close to the hotel, and sightseeing areas. There was the Tango show theater in the same building, which was very convenient. The reception staff spoke English and were always helpful with directions, sightseeing suggestions, and arranging taxi service. The hotel offers breakfast. Simple but enjoyable: small sausages, salads, cheese, cold cuts, fruits, pastries, juices. The staff also prepared fresh eggs for us when we asked for them (omelets, scrambled eggs, or sunny-side up). The breakfast staff regularly checked on us to make sure we had everything, offered coffee and juice, and made us feel very welcome.Overall, we felt safe, comfortable, and very well taken care of during our stay. We truly enjoyed our time in Buenos Aires and would definitely consider staying at NH Tango Hotel again in the future. Thank you to the entire team for making our visit so enjoyable and memorable.

    I selected this hotel so that I could easily slip home after the Opera - I think I reached my bed before many people found their uber 😉 so I was pleasantly surprised by how lovely it was! My room was decorated to invite calm, the bed was comfy and I slept deeply without hearing street noise.     Excellent hotel in the best location! The rooms are lovely, the food at breakfast very good. The reception staff are very helpful and provide excellent service. The location is the best for the best tango show in Buenos Aires, Tango Portello! I removed one star as the hotel provides no English television channels!
