  Nowhere near Novotel standard

  Picked this hotel as eight years ago, had an amazing stay, not his time. We checked in, first.issue, 2 elevators for 11 storeys, there's actually 3, but 1 is for service only, over next 5 days lots of waiting around for an elevator and according to the sign, it holds 8 people!! Unless they are skeletons its 4 Max at a time.Day 2, no water replenishment in room, phoned 3 times, couldn't get through, went downstairs to question and was told that "in this hotel we dont replenish it", when I pointed out it had been done for us in Pullman santiago, novotel Lima, novotel cusco also, was told again that "not in this hotel"! At that point I asked is.this how you treat your gold members and he just apologised, nothing else. This may explain the very basic room we got (no upgrade in a not full hotel) and the scant welcome gift of 3 biscuits, compared to above hotels that laid out very attractive platters and gifts, it was not worth the effort and almost an embarrassment, we are after all, gold members.After a serious plumbing issue, and 3 phone calls, two unanswered and 1 promising maintenance, I gave up after 25 minutes and went down in my pjs to get sorted, it got sorted, turns out it was our problem as we couldn't work the shower properly (no instructions and we dont read minds)Day 2 also, wanted laundry done, found laundry bag with sheet, prices completely blank, got through to reception to be told its on the QR code on the wall, it is, but in Spanish, wasn't wasting any more time and did items in sink myself. At no time could we watch TV, went through the dozens of channels manually to find nothing in English, at all of the previous hotels we were able to select an info tab and change to English, no such thing here, when I called, again, no answer. Went to reception, spoke to a manager whom said there must be 1 or 2 channels in English, however I said there weren't, so he replied "oh well there's not then"! No TV guide either.on any of stationsWent for a drink in bar area on day 3, dropped husbands ventolin which bounced under filthy (pictures attached) seat, whilst I struggled to left the heavy chair (we are both in our 60s) a friendly female guest got on her hands and knees and got it back for us, despite two young men (staff) standing behind the bar watching, and the third male staff member that walked past, smiling, and said "Ola" whilst the lady was on her hands and knees, no offer of help at all.Finally, last night, decided to have drink at bar, went to charge to room, to be told we had to pay immediately, had to go to reception again, turns out they didnt bother to take the deposit from us at check in, but also neglected to tell us, got sorted by front of house but not good enough.The rooms are tired, dated and things dont work and aren't repaired (lights for instance) Housekeeping was good, restaurant was great and breakfast was adequate, however it is not uo to standardWe will not be back, id rather pay the Ibis and upgrade than go through the constant hassles with this establishment.

  Lively Location with a Comfortable Stay

  Absolutely loved the location — it’s right in the heart of the city, with plenty of shops and eateries open late, including several 24-hour options. The streets are full of tourists, which gives the area a lively and vibrant atmosphere, especially in the evenings.The hotel itself is comfortable, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The room was good and had all the basic necessities for a comfortable stay.The breakfast, however, was quite limited, so don’t expect a particularly extensive spread.One disappointment was that I did not receive a room upgrade despite my loyalty status, which is something I usually receive at other properties. It would have been nice to have that recognition here as well.Overall, a comfortable stay with an excellent location, but there is some room for improvement.

  Very central location. The rooms are a little small for this category. The breakfast buffet is decent and meets international standards.

  Novotel Buenos aires is situated in the business Avenue Corrientes that is full of shops, ice cream parlours , restaurants etc . The business city centre is where is Novotel located It's a 4 star property the room is just decent the staff hospitality is mediocre especially at the reception , the restaurant doesn't have a big spread of vegetarian dishes, the buffet breakfast is just okay but nothing to complainThe worst part is that you don't have a Bell boy or any help who can assist your baggage handling from the taxi to the room. Novotel says they don't have this service at all. For youngsters it's fine but for elderly people this can be a big challenge Again you cannot exchange even a single USD to Pesos over there as they don't carry Pesos . So please carry a little amount of Pesos always with you to give some tips to the waiters at the restaurant. Nothing more to add. This is a very average 4 star hotel located in a nice vicinity and that's the only advantage . The hotel and the amenities are just OK

  Wow, what a hotel for the price. Location 5 star, pool 5 star. Stay for weekend hotel is right in the centre of the action. Street is closed to cars at weekend and the party starts.
