    On arriving staff could not be more helpful.     Our flight was late and we didn’t arrive until early morning, Dec 31. Marten was wonderful in accommodating us and arranging a cab for us to the cruise port later in the day. Location of hotel was nice. Short walk to several major monuments and buildings.     Awesome location and value. We had a lovely top floor room with a nice balcony. Staff were friendly and helpful with our requests. Breakfast buffet was the best we encountered on our trip.A small table and chairs for the balcony would make it even better.     First of all, I booked through Expedia but couldn’t figure out how to write my review there so I’ll do it here. Excellent! From the front desk to the staff in the restaurant and bar and the cleaning crew; a big shout out and thank you! Our room was upgraded to a suite because we are Expedia customers. (I use almost all the sites) the room was clean, lovely, and from the bed to the furniture all comfortable. We only stayed one night before our cruise, but definitely would’ve longer if we could. Centrally located, walking distance to fun shopping. I highly recommend this hotel in Buenos Aires. They have others in other locations, I know where I’ll be staying if I’m in any of those cities.     One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at

    Our stay was absolutely awfulWe arrived and received no assistance- our room was dirty and old - we were given a second room that was awful and finally settled in a 3rd room that was tired dated and still dirty . The staff ignored us as much as possible and were almost invisible . The maid was working hard and was cheerful and the bartender affable. The breakfast was terrible .The bed is old and the towel’s frightening.The pool and spa are dark and dank.This property was once charming but barely tolerable now.Our patio door lock was broken and couldn’t be repaired and we had large bugs join us twice.The location was actually surprisingly nice and wonderful .I am so disappointed that the Pestana experience I enjoyed in Europe was nowhere to be found here.The best thing about this hotel was leaving it .
