Great value, location and clean modern rooms.

Great location, walking distance from everything in town. Clean, modern rooms and very warm. Excellent service from the front desk - Abigail, in particular, who was very helpful and very responsive on WhatsApp in helping us book restaurants and call taxis, we truly appreciate her help and warmth of service. Only downside was the very small bathroom and bathtub/ shower space. Gestor de Experiencia, Guest Services / Front Office at Calafate Parque Hotel, responded to this review Dear May, thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are delighted to hear that you appreciated our prime location and the cleanliness of our modern rooms. It is wonderful to know that Abigail provided you with excellent service and assistance during your stay; we will certainly commend her for her dedication and warmth. Your feedback is invaluable to us, and we will take your comments into consideration as we strive to enhance our guests' experiences. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back in the future for another enjoyable stay.

Nice setting, close to everything

This hotel is in a good location, close to all the businesses but very quiet at night. It's also a walkable distance from the bird sanctuary. There’s a small gym on the third floor as well as a small lounge with a shelf of books to borrow. I found the selection of languages interesting- Spanish and English, of course, but also Greek, Estonian, German and (I think) Korean.I had dinner in the restaurant with a fellow traveler. Mine was fine but she saw “Milanese” on the menu, assumed it was chicken Milanese and didn’t read the details. It turned out to be a very large piece of beef, pounded thin and fried, accompanied by French fries. Not what she expected at all. She offered me a piece and it was quite dry. The breakfast buffet was good- not as many fresh fruits as we’d had in the north but that was to be expected. They did have a problem keeping the coffee pots filled when there were two tour groups at breakfast. You may want to bring ear plugs if you have a room facing the street and want to keep your widows open since there's some road noise. Gestor de Experiencia, Guest Services / Front Office at Calafate Parque Hotel, responded to this review Dear Athena53, thank you very much for your kind review. We are delighted to hear that you appreciated our convenient location and the quiet atmosphere of our hotel. It is wonderful to know that you enjoyed the amenities such as the gym and the lounge with a diverse selection of books. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the restaurant menu and breakfast service, as it helps us to enhance our offerings. Your suggestion about ear plugs for street-facing rooms is valuable, and we will take it into consideration. We hope to welcome you back in the future for another pleasant stay.

Great choice in El Calafate!
01 Mar 2026
Nice hotel in the centre of town, close to the shops, restaurants and bars or El Calafate. While we found our room to be a bit too warm, the bed was super comfortable so we had a great night's rest! The bathroom was clean, had good shower pressure and nice toiletries. Breakfast was fresh, offering variety and tasty pastries! Overall, this hotel is a great choice for the area. Gestor de Experiencia, Guest Services / Front Office at Calafate Parque Hotel, responded to this review Dear Ben Travels, thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We are pleased to hear that you found our location convenient and enjoyed the comfort of your bed, as well as the cleanliness of the bathroom and the quality of our breakfast offerings. Your feedback is invaluable, and we will certainly consider your comments regarding room temperature to enhance our guests' comfort in the future. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back on your next visit to El Calafate, where we will strive to make your stay even more enjoyable.

Great location and stay!
17 Feb 2026
We stayed for one night as we wrapped up our 15-day Antarctica and Argentinian Patagonia trip. The staff was friendly and helpful and our room (201) was spacious enough with good shower water pressure. Our only gripe was the thin walls / loud talking neighbors and the elevator that seemed like it might due for some maintenance (dropped down a bit upon entry and seemed a bit lethargic to get moving). The location provided easy access to main strip (1 block) and parking seemed plentiful out front (free) and they offer garage parking as well. Overall, a great place to stay when visiting El Calafate. Gestor de Experiencia, Guest Services / Front Office at Calafate Parque Hotel, responded to this review Dear TravelDispatch, thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed our friendly staff and the spaciousness of your room during your stay. It is wonderful to know that our location was convenient for your visit to El Calafate. We appreciate your feedback regarding the elevator and the noise levels, as it helps us identify areas for improvement. Please rest assured that we will address these concerns to enhance the experience for our future guests. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back on your next visit to the region.

Good location and good breakfast but not much else can be said about the place.

Hotel was very conveniently located. Lobby and overall hotel looked nice but our room was disappointing. Very spartan looking and beds were very small. Lot of noise from outside was heard in the room from people talking and hanging around despite windows all closed. Not to mention the roosters crowing at 4 am every morning. Staff was indifferent. Very good breakfast. Gestor de Experiencia, Guest Services / Front Office at Calafate Parque Hotel, responded to this review Dear Guest, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are pleased to hear that you appreciated our convenient location and enjoyed the breakfast. However, we regret that your experience did not fully meet your expectations. We strive to provide excellent service, and your insights are invaluable in helping us improve. We hope you will consider staying with us again in the future, allowing us the opportunity to provide you with a more satisfying experience.
