  We stayed at the hotel and had a terrible experience. There was extreme noise in the adjacent room all night. When we reported it, we were told we would receive a refund for the evening when we returned after we visited Torres de Paine. Upon our return, we were given a room with no heat. We were then told to contact Expedia upon our return back to Canada, so they could arrange for a full refund for both nights. Everything was documented in emails. Yet Expedia told us that the hotel denied offering us reimbursement. They also contacted the hotel on three other occasions and maintained the same story. The management is not only despicable, their prices are outrageous for what you get. I am only rating this hotel a 1 because zero is not a choice given. Shame on them. Hard to forget: every single one of your complaints was addressed immediately, you were moved to another room, the heating system was checked, and its proper functioning was confirmed.At no point were you promised a full refund, because the issues were resolved during your stay. Claiming otherwise is simply inventing an alternate version of events.Your demands were so far beyond logic that even a science fiction manual would struggle to explain them. Too bad there isn’t a rating system for guests, because in that we would agree: there’s no “0” to evaluate attitudes like yours.If what you were looking for was a luxury-level service, perhaps the solution wasn’t to demand the impossible, but to adjust your budget and book a 5-star hotel.

  The rooms were spacious and equipped with everything. Clean bedding. Full equipment. Parking and relatively close to the city center. The attitude was good and the hotel owner helped us in cases where we needed help with any issue we encountered. In general, we received good value for the amount we paid.   The staff was very pleasant and helpful. That is the best part. The breakfast was adequate. The pictures are deceiving. The hotel was dirty. There was no running water or hot water during our stay. The toilet was not functioning in our room beyond that the supervisor never got in touch with us and did nothing for us. There are a lot of other options I would avoid this hotel.

  We booked our room months in advance. We asked for a queen size bed. When we arrived in the hotel, there was only one person to check us in. I understand that she, Andre, was doing her best. She was pleasant and welcoming but it took about 40 minutes to check in due to having to answer many, many questions from guests who were checking in before us. To wait that long to check in is quite unacceptable in any hotel. Not good. The hotel should have another person to assist with check in.She believed we had booked a room with two twin beds but we had requested a queen size bed. When she finally took us to our room, it looked nothing like the photos we had seen on Expedia. The room was extremely small, not clean, old and unkept (rust, furniture in bad shape) no TV, a window with a view to a small piece of dirt and walls, no safe for our passports, only two bath towels and two hand towels. We were shocked and disappointed. Again, that looked nothing like the photos shown on Expedia.We left the hotel immediately. We never had such a frustrating experience at a hotel. We felt deceived because we would never have booked and paid in advance for a room like the one they gave us.

  The charming building is a bit of a facade, with character but rather empty. Rooms appear to be built quickly and have thin walls with not much to the interior, no TV, and one usable outlet. The wifi was fine and towels were nice. The bed comforter gets hot during the night. Reception was nice and the cafe was a nice touch. There are good restaurants nearby.
