This beautiful property is located in Bahia Redonda, a beautiful area of El Calafate, among stunning landscapes that make this destination an attractive location for many tourists from all over the world. A place that fosters the discovery of natural attractions, the hotel is located only 15 min from the centre of Calafate and features views of the Argentino Lake.

Facility

The hotel has 5 junior suites, 2 suites and 41 double rooms, which are located on 3 storeys and are reachable by lift. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air.     Definitely not a 5-star hotel. The building is showing its age and is in desperate need of renovation. The staff, however, were very friendly and helpful. During our stay in El Calafate, we went on two wonderful excursions with Amayco that were absolutely fantastic. We can therefore wholeheartedly recommend El Calafate as a destination.

    The room was so hot - literally did not get to sleep until about 4 am.No air con! In fairness the man on reception did move us when I pleaded with him to change rooms so credit to him Not a 5 star hotel - staff indifferent to requests - could do a lot better,

    We had a wonderful time at the imago hotel. Especially the service of the staff was amazing (special thanks to Rodrigo and Hugo). If you like sauna and wellness beside hiking experiences this is a great place to stay.

    This was an excellent hotel. After long trekking and coming bacj to luxury was soooo amazing 🤩! I even did a massage and facial, which was a highlight. This hotel goes above and beyond. We had room service too, after massages, which was such a bonus. But we did go into town one night for dinner and had the best lamb. The pool is great and front desk is so helpful. Really appreciated the bath too. First hotel in Argentina where there was a bathtub!!! Everyone was so kind.

    The hotel is quite a way outside the city, we should have booked somewhere closer. Even though they operate a shuttle bus late afternoon/evening, it’s a bit of a pain. Rooms are very dated, but were clean. The hotel doesn’t quite work… the staff not very good, no one really wants to look after you. There’s a bar in the reception area, but never staffed, they have to ask someone to come up from the restaurant so it takes a while. Florence who came and did the drinks was lovely, really wanted to make sure you were enjoying her drinks and she made it clear she was very happy to come back and do more drinks when we needed them.Breakfast was bad. It’s a buffet, but it’s cold.The hot offerings were not appetising. Small hot dog sausages and bacon in water?A toaster that didn’t toast didn’t help either. The spa was deserted but also was very, very dated. The pool however was hot and nice. Water jets and air bubble beds in the water, and we were the only ones in there all the time we were there. The hotel is a 5-star, but it really wasn’t. A 2-3 star at most. Wouldn’t recommend booking here.
