This hotel looks out onto Lake Argentino, and enjoys a location in El Calafate's best-known district. Set at the gateway to the glaciers, it is an excellent base for wonderful excursions.     This hotel is everything you could hope for: • Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff • Luxurious accommodations • Impeccably clean rooms and facilities • Excellent on-site restaurant • Perfect, convenient location What truly sets it apart, however, is the level of care and attention to guests. When I was injured, the staff went out of their way to assist me with ice, help with our luggage, and even provide a complimentary late checkout. After we departed, they proactively contacted us about items we had left behind and arranged for a taxi to deliver them to the airport. Their warmth and attentiveness made the experience feel like staying with family. There is no other place I would ever choose to stay in El Calafate, Argentina.

    A Very Cozy, Well-Located Hotel

    The hotel has an excellent location, just a few minutes’ walk from the center of El Calafate, and it offers a beautiful view of the lake. The rooms are spacious, well equipped, and both the bed and pillows are very comfortable, ensuring a good night’s rest.In addition, there is a very cozy lounge area, perfect for relaxing, even with board games available for guests. The breakfast is very complete and the entire staff is kind and very helpful.During our stay, we had the opportunity to have dinner at the restaurant one evening: the service was excellent, and we really enjoyed the food.

    Location is good. Breakfast was tasty and appreciated. Room was dated, worn and cold. The thermostat seemed to be broken. The bedding and blankets were thin. The patio door was very drafty. Hall lounge area was warm with comfy sofas. Staff was … fine. Not rude but also not hospitable.     Hotel near town with dated rooms.

    The location of the hotel was a 10min to the town center and 5 mins to the lake.The hotel is quite dated in its decor and facilities. Room tends to be smallish in size with thin doors. Can hear sounds along the corridor.We think it is only a 3-star hotel despite its claim to be 4.
