    Hotel was ok......didn't have change (cash) when checking out I had to take the hit which I thought was un professional...... Restaurant took 1 hour to make pasta, salad, and French fries (only 3 tables with couples waiting)Ok hotel to stay in......

    The Howard Johnson hotel near Almafuerte sets a high standard in the region. It is a modern well appointed hotel with large well furnished and comfortable rooms and great nature views at the back of the hotel. The front desk staff are very friendly and professional and they speak good English which is important for business travellers with limited Spanish skills.The restaurant has an extensive, although somewhat unimaginative, menu. However the food is of good quality as is the breakfast buffet.

    Rooms clean but smelled of mildew . Nice size fridge, microwave, and 4 cup coffee pot. Staff at front desk could been friendlier or maybe friendly at all
