The waterfall makes this place tolerable

Worst breakfast in a while. 95% of what this hotel offers for breakfast is bread or cake. There is obviously no cook. They pull the prepackaged cakes out and that's it. There are cold cuts, cheese and fruit. Sugar water they call juice. The coffee is ok. The only hot item is sad scrambled eggs, which are actually cold. There's a microwave. But really 95% of everything this hotel offers is bread and cake. They did offer me gluten-free bread, so there's that. I'm grateful for the two slices of bread. That was my breakfast. The internet doesn't work in the room, so I'm forced to work in a loud lobby where they won't allow me to have my own drink. I have no idea where I'm going to do my Zoom call in the morning. The air conditioner in our room dripped such a huge puddle of water in our room that we had to call someone to mop it up at midnight. The hotel is far away from the waterfall and not that close to the town of Iguazú, which is hardly worth a visit anyway: just a few streets of restaurants with bad food and lots of wine shops (of course great for the locals). Maybe save all the taxi rides and stay closer to one or the other? The pickings are slim here. Anyone coming here is just here for the waterfall, which is of course worth the visit and the bad hotels.

Very nice hotel close to both airport and waterfalls. Hotel staff friendly and speak many languages. The room is nice and fairly inexpensive for what you get. The restaurant, bar staff and snack kiosk all really attentive. My only issue was at 0200 when I could not sleep elevators turned off and no food or drink was available. Had I known I would have purchased a head of time. (Not that I normally wake up at 2 am) my other issue was feeling like a prisoner because all outside doors were locked and trash cans in front of door preventing me from getting fresh air. I only mention it as it can be a deal breaker for some. For me I look at it as safety while I am sleeping. I know I seen knit picky but I am just leaving an honest review to be helpful to others. The room has a tiny safe big enough just for money or a wallet. Not big enough for cell phone or purse. All in all I enjoyed my stay and the staff make every effort to help and satisfy your needs. I only dropped a star specifically for plants scratching window at night.

Our first room looked out to standing water and broken down concrete. We had to pay $ 15 more for a room with a better view. Front staff was not helpful at all when my husband needed to make a local phone call looking for his passport at restaurant in town. Buffet breakfast was of poor quality. Just breads and sweets. Scrambled eggs were cold and not plentiful.

Is rated 4 star, but I think is closer to being 3 star.Lovely staff, very comfortable bed, OK buffet breakfast.Just before I left to check out, the toilet overflowed because of a blockage. Fortunately I did not need to use the bathroom any more.

Terrible place. One of the worst we've stayed in. They strip away everything from hair dryers to shower gel, even towels you need a voucher for. They put in a cabinet for a fridge but took that away. Food is really poor quality both breakfast and bar food. Staff seemed aggressive and hostile towards guests. Really didn't care about guestsm Located well outside city centre as advertised.Really don't have anything good about it other than it's a room with a roof over it. Just avoid.
