Perfect place for our 5 nt visit

    rating01 Aug 2026

Excellent property! Loved everything about it!Ambiance: Authentic, romantic, upper scale without being too fancy.Property; Excellent condition all the way around. Online photos are an accurate representation.Room: we booked master deluxe matrimonial. Great balcony. Could kinda see the river thru the trees.Spacious Gym: 1 elliptical, 2 bikes, 2 treadmills, rower and LOTS of weights. Excellent condition.Bkst: Many different options and something for everyone.Location: Just far enough outside of downtown to feel not so touristy, more authentic and jungle like. Close enough we could walk to downtown (approx 15 min). Uber was EASY to use to the parks & inexpensive. Uber was the same price or cheaper for 2 people than the bus believe it or not!Suggestions/tips:Gym: Doesn’t open until 7 am. Couldn’t work out in the morning before tours. We left each day by 7:30-8 am. Gyms at properties usually open much earlier or even 24 hrs. Mid stay I asked them about this and they said to call the front desk to request an earlier open. Thank you.Shower floor: slippery. Be careful! Some kind of traction applied to floor might be helpful.Room 221: The entire left side of the wrap around balcony looks at a half torn down bldg being restored supposedly? Would suggest putting a privacy screen on that side of the Bldg 2 so people don’t see that view.None of these took away from our stay. Just suggestions or tips.Room choice location….request 5th floor as this is “street level”’ or at least it is in Bldg #2. No stairs or elevators required. Thanks for a great stay Iguazú Jungle Hotel, Marketing at Iguazu Jungle Hotel, responded to this review Dear Guest,Thank you for sharing such a thoughtful review of your stay and for highlighting so many aspects you enjoyed, from the ambiance and room to the gym facilities, breakfast variety, and convenient location. Great hotel for the summer warmer months.

    rating26 Jun 2026

I have a mixed opinion about the hotel. The room was beautiful. The view is beautiful. This would be a great hotel for the warmer months. The pools look beautiful. That is not why we came. We came to visit the Falls during the winter months. I was not expecting to use the pools so again, the pool did not affect my visit. The property is under some construction. It did not affect us because we were gone all day during the day. If you’re planning on coming soon, I would make sure it is not going to be an inconvenience for you. I would imagine if you’re at the hotel during the day it would be noisy.I also do not know how good this hotel would be to somebody who has any mobility issues. Although someone took us in a golf cart to our room upon arrival when we finally did check in at night, we walked back-and-forth along the cobblestone road when we went to breakfast and for our tour the following morning. Make sure you bring a raincoat and an umbrella because the only way to get to the dining room, front desk or breakfast buffet is to walk outside along the cobblestone. If you’re not prepared, you could get very wet heading out for the day.The hotel was helpful in organizing transportation from the airport. I appreciated the email responses I received from the hotel prior to our stay.My mixed views are because of the experience with the staff at the hotel. Although nobody was unkind in anyway, it felt uncomfortable when we checked in and out. We had been to two other hotels in Chile and Argentina, and when we arrived early, our rooms were ready and we were able to check in early with no problem. Upon arrival from Buenos Aires to Iguazú Jungle hotel, we arrived at 11:00, three hours prior to check-in. We were told it would cost $10 a person to check into the room so we opted to just have our luggage stowed at the front desk. I obviously am well aware of the check-in policy, but I haven’t been to a hotel that has not been able to let us into room early in a very, very long time. For me it just seemed like an unnecessary charge considering the hotel was not very busy when we checked in and I’m pretty sure the room was ready, but I do understand the policy so, whatever. The breakfast that was included with the hotel in was very good. Again the staff just did not seem to be very friendly. Upon checking out, we were asked if we had anything from the mini bar. We said we had not. Then we were told we needed to wait until the front desk radioed somebody to go check the bedroom to make sure we didn’t take anything. This was probably the weirdest and most uncomfortable part of the stay. In all my travels around the world I’ve never had somebody go check a room. That’s why they’ve got your credit card on file.Definitely not a dealbreaker for the hotel. But just be aware of that process. Overall, I think it’s fine to choose this hotel. Great place to stay

    rating24 Apr 2026

We had a great three night stay as our base for a tour of the Iguazu Falls. The hotel is more of a resort than a traditional hotel and it has fantastic swimming facilities. There is a snack bar menu by the pool and a good restaurant although breakfast is a bit manic first thing in the morning before guests leave for their tours. The room we stayed in was perfect and the staff were on the whole very helpful. It is unlikely we would return to the Falls but would definitely return to the hotel if we did. Best choice for quiet location in Iguaza

    rating10 Mar 2026

Perfecto! Welcomed by kind staff and shown to our clean and tastefully decorated suite! We loved the space, balcony with view of jungle and small waterfall. The birds were abundant to watch morning and night. The pool area spacious and quite empty. 2 bars with food and drinks at the pool. Ping pong and foosball for kids and young of heart. Breakfast included with breads, pastries, cheese, meats, veges and eggs. Dinner excellent! Easy picturesque walk to town.
