  I had high expectations for this hotel. It has a forest setting, it is rated 5 star and it was the third most expensive hotel we booked during our month in South America. The setting with the large pools is quite magical.The hotel requires using a taxi service. We used Transferjaguariguazu.com for all our transfers and they were excellent. We booked them independantly and they also assisted us when we crossed the border to Brazil.The suite we booked with a deck was spacious. I was hoping to see a toucan but no such luck.The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety. The hotel seems to cater very well for families and since we were travelling as a couple we chose not to have dinner at the hotel. We did The Argentine Experience on our first night. We had lunch at the restaurant the next day and the portion size was good.The staff do not have any incentive to sell or serve you drinks while you enjoy the pool area. We thought maybe that is how it is done in South America. We stayed at the Belmond next and there the service at the pool area was exceptional.I took walks in the area surrounding the hotel and did see some butterfies, birds and animals. We visited the adults pool on the last night. We enjoyed the views and wished the pool had a bit more heating. I enjoyed my stay but something was missing. Maybe the staff could have been friendlier or maybe I just expected a certain level of service at this price point.We enjoyed visiting Iguazu national park and the walks were incredibly beautiful.

  A very nice hotel but avoid the restaurant at nighttime.

  We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay at Loi Suites.Set in the national park the grounds are lush and impeccably maintained, with lots of exotic birds, we even saw coatimundi wandering outside our room. Our bedroom was very comfortable with quality furnishing and linens, the bed was comfortable but very short (I'm only 1.75m), the bathroom was very nice and the toiletries were also top quality. The pool area is large and attractive, they make a great caipirinha at the tiki bar. Daily breakfast buffet was good, offered a nice variety of local and international items.All of the staff we came into contact with were personable, friendly and very helpful.Our only complaint was dinner at Naipi Restaurant and this may be, perhaps, a cultural difference (although we've experienced it nowhere else in Argentina). We arrived for dinner at 9.30pm, expecting to have a nice quiet meal, perhaps lingering over a nice bottle of wine - wrong!!! Half the people in the restaurant were under 5 years old and they kept coming, even at 10pm people were arriving carrying babies and pushing strollers. That would have been ok, except, the toddlers and older kids were left to run around the restaurants, dodging in between tables, shouting and screeching. Babies were crying, the kid at the table next to us spent the entire meal playing drums on the table with his cutlery - it was absolutely horrible, the families were so inconsiderate. We didn't eat there again!!! I would advise anyone without kids to eat dinners outside the hotel. That said, we would stay here again.   Great place, bad transportation

  The place is very beautiful; the best part is the pool area, which feels very relaxed and away from the noise. Right in the middle of the jungle with a great atmosphere and luxurious. Lots of peace and quiet for having drinks in the adults’ pool. The more expensive rooms are very spacious and the bathroom is very large and comfortable. The water pressure in the bidet and shower is very strong, and the hot water comes out super hot—you can get burned if you’re not careful. The worst thing about the hotel is the transportation. They use taxis that rip you off and set the price according to the tourist’s face. You can’t use Uber in the area. You feel trapped in a golden cage unless you rent a car. The place itself is very nice and the food is very good. The breakfast is excellent; the staff is attentive but inexperienced. The downside is the transportation. Still, I recommend it.   A Magical Stay in the Jungle

  Our stay at Loi Suites was nothing short of magical. We booked a Superior room, which truly was superior -- spacious, king bed plus daybed and seating area, plenty of closet space, 2-sinks (open to room), enclosed toilet, deck jacuzzi, and deck sitting area. The room was spotless, quiet, and included a fridge, kettle, and free water. The property itself is stunning, situated in the middle of the jungle. We dined almost solely at the Tiki Bar, their casual restaurant overlooking the pool, and found it superb, though the music was a bit loud and not "indigenous". We were pampered and spoiled by the wonderful Nicolas Salas, who catered to our every food and drink desire. He even gave us tips about where to visit in town, should we so desire. It's a short drive to Iguazu Falls as well as the sweet town. I would stay at Loi Suites again without question.
