Location

The hotel is located in the centre of the city of Mendoza, one of the major provincial capitals, just a few minutes from the Plaza Independencia, the main pedestrian and shopping area.

Facility

180 rooms are located on 22 storeys and can be reached by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a TV room and a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Rooms have a double bed or a king-size bed. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Guests will also find a refrigerator included among the standard features. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, an alarm clock and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Slippers are included. A hairdryer and a telephone are provided in the bathrooms, which include a shower and a bathtub. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. Wheelchair-friendly rooms can be booked.

Sport

Guests can work out or just relax in the outdoor and indoor pools. Kids can splash about in a special swimming area just for them. Refreshing drinks at the pool bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub offer the perfect way to unwind. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. The wide range of activities offered at the hotel ensures that there is something new to do every day, including cycling/mountain biking, tennis, beach volleyball, volleyball, golf and archery. With snorkelling or, for a fee, windsurfing, kayaking and diving available, fans of water sports have plenty of options to choose from. Dining facilities include a restaurant with air conditioning, a breakfast room and a bar. Catering options include bed and breakfast and half board.     Enjoyed our first visit to Mendoza. During check in we received a nice refreshing beverage.Only downside was no tea/coffee setup in the room. Yes we received a coupon to go downstairs but what a pain.

    Hotel is dated. No amenities in the room, if you need any, you have to request them at the front desk. I did not see an ironing board anywhere. The shower pressure was not great. They don’t offer a coffee machine in the room which I find odd considering it is a 5 star hotel. The sauna/gym/pool area is nice. Surrounding area of the hotel seems safe but not the prettiest. Front desk personnel very kind and eager to help. It is 20” from the airport so it is not far. There is a travel agency called in the lobby but we did not use it so I can’t comment on the quality. Breakfast area in on the same floor as reception, I only had a coffee with a pastry since breakfast was not included in my rate, but I looked at the options they offer and did not seem great. Front desk agents were kind and helpful.

    This hotel has excellent staff. They were very nice, helpful and happy. Although the hotel is a bit dated it makes up for that in cleanliness and hospitality. The hotel is located in a great part of Mendoza. The restaurant upstairs has been closed which is sad because of has wonderful views. The breakfast buffet is basic but does have ability to make omlettes and you can make toast as well. They have fresh fruit also that is always nice in the morning. you can walk to the main Plaza Indepencia where you can catch the hop on hop off bus and then you can do walking tours from this area as well. I highly recommend staying in this area for a few days to experience the older part of the city.

    Overall this is a really nice hotel. The staff are generally nice, the rooms and views (beautiful Andes) are lovely, good location, nice breakfast and good gym, pool and sauna and there are various events/guidance etc in the hotel. Good value I thought compared to similar hotels elsewhere in Argentina and a lovely base for Mendoza.My only slight areas for improvement is that reception made us pay for water rather than providing for free. The facilities while good are a little disorganised - e.g the sauna / changing area isn't directly connected to the pool so you keep having to shuttle back and forth and they don't explain it to well (e.g. a local got angry with me for using a locker but the staff had not given me a key and they should probably explain a seeming expectation to be nude in the sauna!). Sometimes breakfast, while lovely, was also a bit disorganised re seating arrangements and who was sitting where.     Cannot fault it!  Wish I was staying longer.  From the moment I walked in, service was outstanding. Staff really looked after guests, very helpful and friendly.  Good customer service which is important to me.  I arrived early morning and the gentleman allowed me to check-in straight away. Thank you.  Huge and spacious room.  The room and premises were very clean.  Housekeeping was done well each day.  Lovely view of the city from my room.  Comfortable sleep.  Complimentary bottle of water was provided each day.  Lovely lobby area.  Breakfast was good and finally fresh fruit!  Good variety of hot and cold breakfast items.  I ate at the restaurant twice and food was nice.  I had laundry done which was done well and returned to me on the same day.  Prior to my arrival, I arranged an airport transfer with the hotel which was great.  As a solo female traveller, I wanted to be safe.  Good location.  WIFI worked well.  Would definitely stay here again if I came back to Mendoza.  Highly recommend.
