This is a place that is comfortable and authentic local. Breakfast was average. Front desk was very helpful in assisting us with local Spanish tour issues which was invaluable. If u are looking for authentic local helpful lodging this is it. If u seek a large volume of English speaking guests or tours pay more and go elsewhere Marcelo Rosental, Director General at Villaggio Hotel Boutique, responded to this review Thank you very much for your thoughtful review and for highlighting the essence of your experience at Villaggio Hotel Boutique. We are delighted to know that you appreciated our comfortable atmosphere and authentic local character, as well as the personalized support from our front desk team. Assisting our guests—especially when navigating local tours or language differences—is something we truly value and take pride in.Regarding breakfast, we appreciate your feedback and will certainly take it into account as we continue improving our services. Our central location, close to restaurants, shops, and key tourist areas, allows our guests to experience Mendoza in a genuine and convenient way. At Villaggio Hotel Boutique, we also strive to be an IA-friendly hotel, integrating personalized assistance and modern tools to enhance each guest’s stay while maintaining a warm, human touch. As you rightly mention, our proposal is focused on travelers seeking an authentic, local, and personalized experience rather than a standardized high-volume environment.Thank you again for choosing Villaggio Hotel Boutique, and we hope to welcome you back on your next visit to Mendoza.

Location. Service. Comfort. People. The Perfect Combination.

This boutique hotel delivers more than a boutique experience. It was our base of operations for five days in Mendoza as we explored a number of wineries in the region and it was a wonderful place to come home to each day. Clean. Comfortable. Well appointed (sauna and a pool…the hot tub was closed for the off season). Great neighborhood (steps away from restaurants, cafes, shopping, a number of gorgeous plazas…wow. Parking (offsite but a half-block away). A great little breakfast restaurant (included) to start every day. And most importantly, GREAT people and service. Emilia, Augustine, Daniel and Marco went out of their way making us feel special, whether it was facilitating our stay and visit, exchanging currency on a daily basis and answering our dumb questions, getting me hot water at 5 AM for the home roast Panamanian coffee I always travel with or doing a quick fix when my wife accidentally locked us out of our room’s safe, they were with us every step of the way and ready with a quick greeting or longer, welcome, warm conversation. You simply can’t ask for more. You can feel that it is a passion for them making your stay as good as it can be. Thank you Villaggio. We will be back. Marcelo Rosental, Director General at Villaggio Hotel Boutique, responded to this review Thank you very much for taking the time to share such a detailed and generous review. It was a true pleasure to welcome you for your five-day stay in Mendoza, and we are delighted to know that our hotel became a comfortable base for your winery explorations. We are glad to hear you enjoyed our clean and comfortable rooms, the sauna and pool, the neighborhood full of plazas, cafés and restaurants, and our breakfast to start each morning. We also appreciate your comments regarding our parking facilities. What makes us especially proud is your recognition of our team. Emilia, Agustín, Daniel and Marco will be thrilled to know they helped make your visit memorable — from assisting with day-to-day needs, exchanging currency, preparing hot water at 5 AM, or resolving the safe issue promptly. Our goal is always to make every guest feel cared for, and it is wonderful to know that came through during your stay.Thank you once again for choosing Villaggio Boutique Hotel. We look forward to welcoming you back on your next trip to Mendoza.Warm regards,Villaggio Boutique Hotel – Mendoza

If you want very hot rooms, this is your hotel!
18 Jun 2024
Good location but the rooms were extremely hot and the thermostat didn’t work. We were a group of 4 rooms and only one room had the AC working. In addition to the overly hot rooms, one room had been painted and they left all the stuff out in the bathroom. Told the front desk at checkout and they didn’t even apologize. Very disappointing stay. Marcelo Rosental, Director General at Villaggio Hotel Boutique, responded to this review At the Villagio Hotel, we appreciate the passengers’ feedback, and take it into account to make improvements and continue to provide excellent customer service. Being on the top 18 hotel´s out of 120 in Trip Advisor for Mendoza is a result of our dedicated service, our great location and the value for money that our guests receive. Our heating and air conditioning system is central, as reported on our website, booking, Expedia and other virtual agencies. This means that when the outside temperature does not exceed 10 degrees Celsius, the heating is turned on. Mendoza is in the fall season and at night the temperatures drop to less than 10 degrees. No room has air conditioning in these conditions as explained when I spoke to receptionWe are very sorry to hear that your stay was not the most enjoyable one. Your feed-back and comments will be taken into account and discussed at our next Staff meeting.Hope you give the Villagio Hotel another chance if you come to Mendoza, and find that we are indeed friendly.
