Location

This hotel is located in an exclusive area of Mendoza city, just 1 block from Independence Square, 50 m from the Regency Casino and a few blocks from the most important commercial and tourist areas of the city. It is only a 3-minute walk from the centre of the city, and guests will find restaurants (100 m), the shopping venues of the Sarmiento pedestrian zone (400 m) and bars (600 m) all close by. The Parque General San Martin is 1 km away and it is 1.2 km to the nearest links to the railway terminal and 1.5 km to the historic Old Town.

Facility

4 suites and 22 double rooms are located on 5 storeys and can be reached by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock. A baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service are available. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops as well. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park.     This is a place that is comfortable and authentic local. Breakfast was average. Front desk was very helpful in assisting us with local Spanish tour issues which was invaluable. If u are looking for authentic local helpful lodging this is it.     This boutique hotel delivers more than a boutique experience. It was our base of operations for five days in Mendoza as we explored a number of wineries in the region and it was a wonderful place to come home to each day. Clean. Comfortable. Well appointed (sauna and a pool…the hot tub was closed for the off season). Great neighborhood (steps away from restaurants, cafes, shopping, a number of gorgeous plazas…wow. Parking (offsite but a half-block away). A great little breakfast restaurant (included) to start every day. And most importantly, GREAT people and service. Emilia, Augustine, Daniel and Marco went out of their way making us feel special, whether it was facilitating our stay and visit, exchanging currency on a daily basis and answering our dumb questions, getting me hot water at 5 AM for the home roast Panamanian coffee I always travel with or doing a quick fix when my wife accidentally locked us out of our room’s safe, they were with us every step of the way and ready with a quick greeting or longer, welcome, warm conversation. You simply can’t ask for more. You can feel that it is a passion for them making your stay as good as it can be. Thank you Villaggio. We will be back.     Great staff. Very helpful with suggestions and reservations at wineries and restaurants. Room was very nice and comfortable.     If you want very hot rooms, this is your hotel!

    Good location but the rooms were extremely hot and the thermostat didn’t work. We were a group of 4 rooms and only one room had the AC working. In addition to the overly hot rooms, one room had been painted and they left all the stuff out in the bathroom. Told the front desk at checkout and they didn’t even apologize. Very disappointing stay. Being on the top 18 hotel´s out of 120 in Trip Advisor for Mendoza is a result of our dedicated service, our great location and the value for money that our guests receive. Our heating and air conditioning system is central, as reported on our website, booking, Expedia and other virtual agencies. This means that when the outside temperature does not exceed 10 degrees Celsius, the heating is turned on. Mendoza is in the fall season and at night the temperatures drop to less than 10 degrees. No room has air conditioning in these conditions as explained when I spoke to receptionWe are very sorry to hear that your stay was not the most enjoyable one. Your feed-back and comments will be taken into account and discussed at our next Staff meeting.Hope you give the Villagio Hotel another chance if you come to Mendoza, and find that we are indeed friendly.

    The hotel is in a great location, you’re near the best streets and near 2 Michelin restaurants.In a walk distance you can find the best places in Mendoza.The room we stayed in was really comfortable and clean.
