  I stayed in the hotel for five weeks and I always found the staff very helpful, informed and pleasant. My room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. I liked the historical aspect of the place very evident in the corridors with the high ceilings and marble stairs. The breakfast included was consistently good. As the hotel is in the downturn area of Rosario it's conveniently located. Not far from the mall and shops. Also you can walk to the river. Highly recommended.   You'd think that at a four-star hotel, the staff would be able to communicate with foreign guests even with the simplest requests, but that's not the case at the Savoy. We were terribly disappointed and disgusted with the reception service.If you're looking to practice your miming, this is the place for you – the staff is perfect for giving you confused looks and not knowing how to respond to simple requests, from bringing fresh towels to the room to helping you resolve a Wi-Fi issue. No matter how many times you call them throughout the afternoon, you won't get a response.Going down to reception isn't much help either, unless you're prepared to play Pictionary every time you try to ask them for something. It's ideal for immersing yourself in a spiritual retreat: no one understands you, no one answers, and you have plenty of time to reflect.The facilities, the Rock & Roll decoration and breakfast are the only positive aspects I can highlight. The check-in process was tedious, and the receptionist, whose name I believe was Camila, was so lacking in kindness and empathy that the rate should already include a discount just for interacting with her.It's inconceivable that at a high-end hotel, receptionists can only say hello and goodbye. I asked them to wake me up at 8:00… I imagine it was 8:00 in some other time zone because it hasn't happened yet.I asked another receptionist, whose name was Mikaela, for directions to a water dispenser. I ended up taking more steps than in a marathon, so I assume she doesn't even know where it is. The way they treat you makes you wonder how a manager can allow such incompetent people to run the front desk.If you're a foreigner, don't even bother coming here. They have a unique ability to openly ignore you. You can tell they've practiced it for years. In the end, the hotel restaurant staff were more than helpful, and the food was incredible.I don't recommend coming here, no matter what language you speak. You'll find more competent and friendly people ANYWHERE else.   Beautiful hotel with great service...and squeaky floors.

  This beautiful building, built in 1910, is in a good location--easy walk to shops, restaurants, and the park area. This rock and roll themed hotel has a great staff, ready to take care of you as you walk in. The rooms were clean and well cared for (we stayed in Rm. 310). The building retains much of its charm from its 1910 glory days--like its beautiful staircase, but has the modern conveniences required by today's traveler. The room for three we stayed in had a king size bed and a twin bed, separated by a full height wall, open on either end, that gave a bit of privacy. The furnishings were helpful. The room had an armoire, a TV stand and a desk and chair. It also had a microwave and refrigerator. The bathroom was very adequate, with space to put things down and hooks on the wall. There was also a makeup mirror in the bathroom--nice touch! There is an additional full-length mirror in the bedroom, so multiple people can get ready at the same time. The only downside to this wonderful hotel is the extremely squeaky floors. It was impossible to step anywhere or anyhow in the room without making quite a squeaky racket. The breakfast was very good--including eggs, pastries, warm and cold cereals, fruit, veges, and a variety of breads and toppings as well as hot drinks. The eating area includes many large screens with famous rock singers' videos and concerts playing. It wasn't so loud that you couldn't talk over it, but some content in the videos may be inappropriate for young kiddos. There was one area we noted that didn't have screens that offered some seating. Extra bonus to this hotel is the ice cream shop, Rumo, right down the street. Argentina has, I think, the best ice cream in the world!   Beautiful architecture, wonderful staff and the best part a heated in door pool so we could swim even when it was 0 Deg C outside.   Excellent location perfect service and the personnel is the best We stayed for business but could be an excellent option for other porpoises. The breakfast was very good. The restaurant is also excellent.
