    Nice but a bit away from the centre

    Nice hotel, a little out of the way for a tourist rather than people wanting the hospital. However, the free trams run past the hotel to get into the centre. Not much local in terms of food, a few minutes away there are cafes, McDonalds and an Italian restaurant. I had a room on the 4th floor with a balcony overlooking a busy road but being 4 floors up reduced the noise

    Really comfortable, accessible and clean hotel in a great location. The aircon worked very well which was crucial in above 40 degrees! Around the corner from a good cafe and pub and walking distance to the centre mall. Rooms with a balcony had a great view but with a little noise.

    The Riviera is a very nice place, rooms clean and tidy, staff very friendly and helpful. Bed comfortable, towels and linen all very good. Car park was $25 per night, a bit expensive. Close to railway station and the Adelaide oval.

    Cheap and basic, but fits exactly what I was looking for.Ducted heating and cooling right into room.Of course there is noise from guest but that is expected.Ask by email if you want room x18, as it faces a light well, so no traffic or doof doof from car noise.Key still old style so no tap card on entry to room.Has mini bar with items if ypu want.Right on North Tce so on public transport.I dont drive but its convenient to use bus or tram.

    Arrived after flight from Canberra, settled in and went walking around town. The reception area is manned by very friendly and efficient staff who are very proactive. We were only there for one night as we were off to Kangaroo Island for a tour. Reception were happy to store our main luggage while we were away. After tour we arrived back near midnight and had to move on - reception called us a taxi and once again demonstrated excellent service. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anybody coming to Adelaide
