Iconic building, great location.

This is fantastic charming old iconic building, in a great location. Similar stays in other capitals cost twice as much. I loved it and will stay again. The only down sides are it's a little tired (carpets a bit worn etc) and the HVAC was noisy (noticeable at night; i had to sleep with earplugs), but as mentioned, the price was so low I can over look these. Bumped up room rate by over $200 on AFL Gather round night

Bit greedy with room charge increase for Gather round Saturday night.Otherwise accommodation is good and staff were helpfull and friendly.Apartments are on edge of CBD and therefore restuarants are limited in the immediate vicinity. Careful of the bath!

The hotel is great but ask what the bath/shower situation is for your room. Room 20 has a bath/shower and the design means that the only way into/out of the bath is by stepping on the very slippery sloped end of the bath. Both my husband and I slipped (and I had a non-slip mat down after seeing the aftermath of his slip). I would not use the bath/shower again if I stayed in that room and would instead go down and take a shower (in bathers) in the swimming pool shower. It is very dangerous. We were very happy with the rest of our stay. The apartment was spacious and well maintained and the hotel itself is very interesting as a historical building. Location was good , unfortunately the cleaning was awful . We stayed in an apartment went to use the frypan with was greasy and aslo the oven was very greasy not good for the money we paid .We were there during the Fringe events which meant the courtyard of Adina was closed 4 nights out of the 6 nights we stayed so you couldn't go there .
