Horrible, and horrendous hotel

Deceptive photographs intended for wrongful promotion. This is really not a hotel but a center city shelter. The outside , inside and everything else are so bad about this so-called hotel that I am surprised it is still running under ‘Holiday Inn’ banner! Rooms are so awful, stinky, and repulsive that I had to forfeit 2 nights rate and leave. I was scared of hygiene snd sanitation .This hotel is a disgrace to the ‘Holiday Inn’ banner and needs to be permanently closed.

Rooms do not match photos rip off

None of the rooms available match any of the photos they have a window one third the size of all the shots that are advertised I was told that because I booked in late all the Hindley Street facing rooms have had their allocation used even though I booked and pre-paid two days ago. I wasn't offered any compensation I wasn't offered an upgrade option they simply argued and made excuses and tried to attack my complaint as one photo i showed was 'a corner room'

Great location but that allBefore arrival I had two boxes delivered and on check-in I asked if the boxes could be taken to the room as I had luggage as well the exact words I was told ‘sorry we don’t offer that service you would need to take the boxes yourself ‘ but then when I was trying to mange with the boxes and luggage the same person then said oh I can help you so you can imagine my reply. Then at 10.30pm was a fan noise in my room which o was told ‘oh that just white noise’ and I said well I like a quiet room so finally was take to accessible room but told can only stay two nights then need to move. So that day packed everything up went to reception to be told oh you don’t need to move that you should have been told that last night. Then I check out showed picture of the bathroom full of black mould and all I got was oh ok. Make your mind up from this if you stay here I

The Holiday Inn in Adelaide is in. A perfect location , 2 minute walk to Rundle mall, 10 minute walk to Adelaide Central Market, and short walk to casino , Room was quite big and service was excellent ( house keeping & reception) , we had a quick dinner one night service was quick and tasty , there is also a guest laundry available for $2.00 a wash and $2.00 per dry Highly recommend the holiday inn

Enjoyed our stay for a couple of nights here in Adelaide. Easy walk to the river and the Adelaide Oval. Easy walk to the tram stops and a ride to Glenelg beach. Room was nice and we loved the shower glass - toilet door set up. Made the room much lighter and brighter. Breakfast was ok, a basic buffet. At busy times though, tables were filled up quickly. Best to go early or late. Close to the Avis car hire reception too, great for us.
