    I have stayed in hundreds of hotels around the world and this is by far the worst and most dangerous. Drug deals on our floor , a woman beaten outside my daughters room. And staff just laughed when told. Parking is a nightmare and cars are just allowed to park wherever they want often blocking exits. I can deal with the blacked out windows and shocking TV reception, when it actually works. But to feel unsafe is just wrong. I would recommend under the bridge up the road before I would recommend this hotel to even my worst enemy. In fact Adelaide city feels more unsafe than the Bronx , and I have stayed there with no dramas. To get out of the hotel you shouldn't have to walk o over junkies.     Good downtown location

    This hotel is a bit tired, but the beds are comfortable. It’s a perfect location if you have business downtown.     Excellent value for money in a fantastic central location

    The Mercure Grosvenor is located on an avenue with all major (free) musea and university and research buildings, with easy access to the bustling back streets and highlights of the city. Free tramline through CBD just in front. Our room was small but perfect. No outside view. All necessary amenities are in the room. Very friendly reception staff. A tip: there is a free bus line nearby, that takes you around the whole city, clockwise and counter clockwise, hop off hop on. If you book a day trip with Sealink for Kangaroo Island, coach picks you up early in the morning and drops you at night at your hotel. Just ask them about it.     Serious security issue in the hotel

    This hotel has serious security issues in Adelaide. I had a very bad experience at the Grosvenor Hotel where I stayed. I woke up around 3 am and found my room door half open. Around midnight, I heard a woman on the same floor screaming, asking someone why they opened her door. One room key card should not open another guest’s room.

    No one knows what the other has told us. No one seems to know their job Parking ..one person said it's ok to park until we have bags the sign clearly says passenger loading. .next thing we are told to move on. How do we load our bags if we can't park out the front. One room the clients did not get in until 7.00pm. There were wet paint signs everywhere . The rooms were very noisy. Heard every bit of noise outside and in the hallways.Did not enjoy our stay at all. Sue McPherson Tours and Travel Do they want groups?
