Kindness When We Needed It Most

We just checked out of Lindy Lodge after staying there for almost 2 months, and I genuinely can’t thank them enough.Mum and I were there because of a housing crisis, and two days ago Housing SA finally moved us into a brand new home. Lindy Lodge was our in-between place during a really stressful time in our lives — and they made it so much easier than it could have been.Jamie, the manager, is an absolute legend. From day one he treated us with respect and kindness. No judgement, no attitude — just genuine care. You can tell he actually looks after people, not just rooms. That meant a lot to us.The cleaning staff were also amazing. Every morning they’d knock and make sure the room was properly cleaned. They were always friendly, polite, and happy to help. It never felt awkward or uncomfortable — just professional and warm.When you’re going through a tough situation, the way people treat you matters more than anything. Lindy Lodge gave us stability and kindness when we really needed it.Thank you Jamie and the team. We won’t forget it.

Motel was old, damages throughout room, stains on bedding and after 2 days looked at mattress which was covered in multiple stains over a long period of time.

Whilst staying at the Lindy lodge I had them break into my car to move it so they could allow access for a gardener to fix and fence and tidy a garden bed.I had a very expensive $3000 handbag and other items go missing from my belongings and even had them move all my belongings from one room to another while I wasn’t there as I had Covid and was asked to stay else where until isolation was over.The owner David came across as smart and charming however when confronted about breaking into my car and his own worker admitting it was him who asked the worker to do so he quickly turned and the police are now involved.I would recommend staying there if u like cold stiff blankets, fake and rude staff, being around others who are out of domestic violent relationships and the homeless as that is who they cater for as beggers can’t be choosers.

What an awesome Stay I've had here the last 12 days the staff and house maids were so caring and compassionate I booked into Lindy Lodge 3 days after major Surgery and couldn't of been looked after enough What a lovely peaceful stay I had and I thank you all very much if I'm ever in Adelaide again this motel will be my choice A big thank you to Jamie

We booked in for 2 nights as I had an overnight stay in Q.E.H. upon enquiring re booking a room with single beds due to my severe medical problems Sam explained they did not have a twin single beds room ; but he kindly offerred a room with a king bed and a sofa bed. - room 1. on arrival Jamie was very kind and offerred his assistance if I had any problems our just to phone and let him know. His kindness to a lady in her seventies was very much appreciated.The room was so clean it looked like it had been newly renovated. the beds were ultra comfortable. We have nothing but praise for this motel and would happily recommend it to any travellers looking for accommodation. We have travelled extensivelly in our retirement . and this motel ranks as one of the best we have sayed in
