Location

Located in the elegant seclusion of Hindmarsh Square, the city hotel is close to major theatres, Rundle Mall shopping and Rundle Street dining precinct, Adelaide Convention Centre, Sky City Casino and the Adelaide Cricket Ground. Glenelg Beach is around 10 km from the hotel and Adelaide International Airport is approximately 7 km away.

    Well located, well equipped 2BR room, cool pavement evening drinks. BUT I was obliged to move rooms after my friend left a day before me unless i paid extra for one night. Rey mean. That night at 23.00 someone tried to get into my room. They had obviously been given a key by reception. I had the security lock engaged but it took me 2 hours to get back to sleep. Very unimpressive.     I stay in a lot of hotels and I think there is so much more that could be included to make this place better. The room was fine although the bathroom is poorly designed. The lifts are being upgraded but that said one is so small we stood side on. There was no opportunity to opt out of our room being serviced. Other Accor hotels offer rewards for opting out and a more sustainable environment. There is also something dodgy about the bar that closed at 8:10pm on a Saturday night. The boy & girl were extremely rude when I questioned why. Fortunately the reception team assisted us with our welcome drinks. As I said so much potential but not sure if I will return.     Upon arrival at breakfast there was no clear tables, cutlery, cups or plates. Staff were slow and the room was chaos.Aside from that the Mantra is in a good location.     Delta did my wrong. Dont stay here ever!

    Worst hote I ever stayed at. Lobby dirty and super gross. Only two elevators running. Rooms subpar. Bathroom floor gets super wet after showerAnd becomes muddy until dry. Super noisy hotel with kids screaming in rooms and ohtside noise keeps you up.     We arrived in Adelaide late morning off The Ghan and were pleasantly surprised to be able to check in around midday into apartment #117, just for one night. Very spacious apartment, well appointed with a balcony and outdoor seating. Breakfast was included . Central to walking to town, Botanic Gardens, Art Gallery and the Zoo.We had a delicious dinner at Von Thai restaurant, but make sure you make a reservation for a Saturday night ( we managed a table outdoors, weather was perfect!)
