Location

The family owned and operated motel is located within the heart of the world renowned wine region of McLaren Vale. It is 40 kilometres south of Adelaide, the capital of South Australia. The area enjoys a Mediterranean type climate, being situated between the southern Mount Lofty Ranges and the sea. These conditions are ideal for the production of the world class wines produced in the area. Links to the public transport network are within around 100 m of the hotel and the railway station is some 10 km away. Adelaide Airport is situated at a distance of approximately 40 km.

Facility

The hotel has 2 apartments, 10 studios and 25 double rooms. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities available at the hotel include a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access (for a fee) allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities and a lift. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air.     Book Direct. it could be cheaper than you think!

    We booked direct and we were highly impressed with our King room which exceed our expectations and was excellent value! This is more than a Motel room, as it was significantly larger with a stocked bar fridge which was reasonably priced, together with cutlery, toaster, microwave. There was an excellent sized shower together with a separate toilet and no road noise at night!

    The McLaren Vale Motel and Apartments was large, and well located in McLaren Vale. The rooms were a good size and clean and well equipped. The grounds were well maintained and pleasant and overall this was a good place to stay in McLaren Vale. Staff were friendly and coop[erative.

    I stayed here with a friend on a Saturday night after a wine vineyard lunch. First I would like to say how welcoming and helpful was the lady at the front desk(I think it was Corinne). We were in a family unit just for one night. It was clean with very comfortable beds, nice shower area, microwave and refridgerator. There was some noise from adjacent units until early hours of the morning, not very loud but annoying, possible a continuation of the day’s activities. I did not complain. I went for a swim in the pool in the early morning, did about a kilometre. I think it is 12m and was 24(75) degrees, very comfortable for swimming laps. The motel is across the road from the Visitors Centre which has a wealth of local information. I would definitely stay at this motel again.

    Lovely motel so convenient for McLarenVale wineries. Super friendly staff- nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are large and spotlessly clean and serviced daily. Car park outside unit is so convenient.Everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Lovely kitchenette with added bonus of coffee plunger and the coffee to go with it. Lovely shower and plenty of hot water. Outdoor pool was clean with pool towels provided. Very good wifi and loads of sockets to charge devices! Cannot recommend highly enough. Thank you for making my stay so enjoyable.

    We had a Four day stay in the lovely Mc Claren Vale and Fleurieu AreaThe motel is well placed to explore in all directions. We had Room 35 - comfortable King bed. Big TV. Spacious kitchenette area. Excellent bathroom with washing machine and drier. So everything you could need. Ingredients for continental breakfast replenished daily. We found it very comfortable, clean as a whistle and well run
