  As a base for a week going round the wineries in McLaren Vale this was ideal. Very quiet and peaceful setting, comfy spacious and spotlessly clean cabin with excellent breakfast goodies provided. Only a short walk to various restaurants for an evening meal, back to the cabin afterwards to enjoy the complimentary bottle of wine and chocolates provided by Kay and Reg, a nice touch. Would not hesitate to come back.

  A Quiet Get-Away

  We were fortunate to be able to book the "studio with continental breakfast" at Rosebank for a few days during a busy summer period. It is in a quiet, old residential area of McLaren Vale thus has minimal traffic however is just a short 5 minute walk to the Main Street, the commercial strip in town. The grounds are shady with dense tree foliage and floral garden. The entrance to Rosebank is from Reeves Street around the corner from Jarrad Street. The studio unit is suitable for a couple. It has a major room containing a comfortable, large bed, TV, breakfast area and an adjoining ample bathroom/shower. Although the temperatures were mid to high 30'sC, the A/C was up to the challenge.There was ample quantity, quality and choice with the continental breakfast that most would find adequate although I'm sure the custom breakfast option would be lovely for those who prefer a larger breakfast fare. The hosts, Kay and Reg, were friendly, helpful and full of touring advice and stories. We thank them for a very pleasant visit. The only word of caution to visitors is not to leave foods, especially sweets, on the counter as the hot, dry summer brings out tiny ants seeking moisture. On the third day they appeared and taught us that lesson. Fortunately ample insecticide was at hand to deal with the rascals.

  This was our second stay this year in Rosebank Cotrage. Four of us stayed for 3 nights and found it very relaxing with everything at our fingertips. The fridge and cupboard well stocked ....wine and chocolates available with home made bread.

  Located close to Main Street. Very peaceful. Beautiful house & deck/garden. Hosts were friendly and accommodating. Fully equipped kitchen, lovely breakfast supplies and a bottle of wine were waiting for us.

  Really comfortable and convenient cottage

  We stayed in the cottage for several nights in July and highly recommend it. It is a two-bedroom house set in a small but very attractive garden. Blue wrens skipped around the vegetable garden at the back. It is self-catering and has a superbly supplied kitchen and all we needed for breakfast in the fridge. Some beautiful and delicious oranges in a bowl set the tone for the style and welcome of this place. Hosts could not be more helpful. It was cold when we were there and the heating was excellent.
