    Great location for walking to Adelaide city's highlights. Great coffee and food at French Cafe at street level. Was a little tricky getting picked up for day tours but can easily be accommodated by walking around the corner. Room was good, Storage was tight for luggage, Water pressure great, clean. Absolutely no view but we didn't go to sit in the room. Overall a great city base for reasonable rate. Noise wasn't too bad. Mattress's were comfortable.     Stayed here three nights, the hotel is well situated near many bars & restaurants. We walked everywhere as the local attractions were all within easy walking distance. Our room was clean and offered all the necessary amenities & the bed was very comfortable. The staff on reception we cheerful and helpful, as were those in the restaurant/bar Overall, a excellent stay, would recommend.

    Check in at 8pm took forever, despite being only guest in line. Associate’s second day on the job, working solo. Finally checked in once Night manager showed up. Got in room on second floor only to find ROACHES in the bathroom. No available hotel rooms nearby due to influx of tourists celebrating Chinese New Year. Immediate return to check in and finally settled in another room😳. Front desk was not overly concerned. Next evening arrived back to hotel. Three homeless men walking towards us, yelling at us from Currie Street. Needless to say, we left the next morning.

    We had a very disappointing experience with the hotel and for such a high priced hotel.We left the room at 10:00 AM with the “Please Clean” tag clearly displayed. When we returned, nothing had been cleaned — dirty dishes, used towels, and an unmade bed were all still there.Reception told us the room was on “Do Not Disturb” at 9:00 AM when housekeeping checked, so they skipped it entirely. Are guests expected to wake up before 9:00 just to remove the sign? Even after we requested cleaning later, it was not done and left the tag in your clean the entire day. I’ve never stayed at a hotel that refuses to clean a room simply because we didn’t get out earlier in the morning. This feels like corner-cutting and unprofessional service. Completely unacceptable. Do not recommend this place at all. Was anyway never gonna stay here again because of how underwhelming the place was compared to the pictures. What a shame and waste of money.
